:flower3: Thx Lucky,.........HMPHF...............apparently there are still rooms available (some people dropped out!).........now that Lucky's retiring, I personally feel she needs to BE ON THIS CRUISE....and while we're at it, the Debster...........is missing out on the SCRAPBOOKERS IN HER SI AREA!! They were actually talking scrapbook and planning how THEY COULD MEET TO SWAP SCRAPBOOK IDEAS ON OUR CRUISE! :dance3: :rolleyes1 :woohoo: Just a thought, just a thought...................:yay: and Jenny, you too, buster!!

Yes, the excitement is building for the 'BIG ONE'.......but of course, HOW could we meet such nice people X2? (Of course we still have Lynn & Keith.... )

Anyway, have I mentioned that the Bday boy came down with a horrendous stomach virus and has been on the couch for 3 days (probably the depression is hitting him!)

Jess has another BIG game tomorrow....pray for a miracle folks!

Seriously, cuddles all around............and Lynn, I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU DO IT :grouphug:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEN Ok, so I am a few days late. Sorry, hope you are felling better.

JoAnn I think they are doing that on our cruise next year too (the scrapbooking). I haven't been on that board in a long time, it is just too hard to keep up with.

Bob Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, but we are going to have to pass on the Mary Poppins tickets. Both of our nieces got engaged on St. Patrick's Day, one is having her Engagement party in September and the other is in July, she is not sure of the day, yet but it will likely be the 14th or 21st, so we have to keep our Saturdays open in July till we found out.

So guys, guess where I am going to this weekend. Vegas, baby. I am so excited. Micco surprised me for our Anniversary/Mother's Day. And yes, Jenny, I am going to see Elton John. We are both Vegas virgins, and are looking forward to getting away ALONE!!!! I have heard that if you are not a gambler, there is so much to do in Vegas. We are leaving tomorrow morning and will be back Monday night. Supposed to be 97 there tomorrow, I can't wait. Hope to get a little pool and margarita time...:cool1: :woohoo:

Debi

Have fun in Vegas, Deb & Micco!!:goodvibes

On the OTHER thread, they are posting that the Cat 12 rooms are being offered at really great prices..........;)

Jess had her last game of the regular season, we're hoping for a good seed in the playoffs............:scared1:

As I mentioned, Trayc is home.........she'll probably be by.............what are everyone's Mother's Day plans??

How cool is that??? You will love it (even though you've already left!!)!!!

Laid back weekend.....John has a game tomorrow evening, but other than that I am not planning a thing. I have already got my groceries in, so I am home free! (well except :laundy: of course, but that's a given).

I won't see Mark all weekend. The Reds are on the west coast, so that means 10:40 p.m. games. He'll sleep in, take an afternoon nap and stay up late watching them!:rolleyes1

10 more days of school!!!!:woohoo: :woohoo:

Ken & I slipped up to the girls to see Rod Stewart and I surprised Ken with MP tix (before I knew we were going)..........all I can say is.........what a show!! I can't wait to see it again with everyone...........it was amazing, the sets, the dancing, the storyline.........so much fun! IT WILL BE FANTASTIC!! We also went to the Disney Store and Tiffany's..........the CBS store, Niketown, Ken ran in Central Park with Traceeeeee....we had a good time! Enough with that birthday!:lmao:

The Magic has set sail for Europe yesterday, for a fun guilty pleasure, check it out!!!

I imagine it could get alittle boring on the crossing the ocean part! Oh well....have a great Mother's Day to all!!:woohoo:

Did you say..........10 MORE DAYS???.......I have a month!!!:scared1:

haven't been around lately:sad1: :sad1:
It's been a rough week:sad1: :sad1:
BUT, Bob is now home from Kansas, so things can only get better:cheer2:
Got a beautiful Mickey Mouse tropical (pink) purse for mother's day! love it!

OK, back to everything else....
I've kindof (sorry) been on another thread since yesterday - the Med thread - the ship left yesterday and there is a great video of 'her' leaving the port.
I just hope people put up trip reports - I live these trips thru their reports.:cool1: :cloud9:

YOU SAW MP! why didn't you tell us Joannster! :confused3 We could have gone to another show, although now I really want to see this show:cheer2:
AND, MS. TRAY-TRAY....YOU WENT SHOPPING WITHOUT ME!:furious: :furious: (YES, I'm shouting!):love2: :furious:
Speaking of Kansas! (were we?) - my very smart DH pulled TWO FREE AIRLINE tickets when flying home on Friday night - bumped (voluntarily) twice in Chicago - could have gotten bumped a third time! Now we either have Las Vegas tickets or Christmas Disney airline tickets.:woohoo: :woohoo:

Hope the Bolusi's are having a GREAT time in LV.

Jenny - you ask what I'm doing today? (did you?) :laundy: :laundy: :laundy:
Bob, Tyler and I DID go to Don Pablo's today (one of my favorites).

My university is over - we are so happy to have our town back and all the brats went home for awhile. The town is a mess with all their partying, broken beer bottles thrown everywhere, etc. etc. etc. I worked a few hours yesterday at commencement. My LAST ONE:woohoo:

Well, guys, back to that "other thread" - they are in Castaway Cay today:cool2: , then SIX days at sea.:boat: I believe this is the one Kathy is on and had a suite, then staying for the first trip in the Med.:cool1:

Remember, Looseeee, when I got Ken a ressie with that really good promotion from MM? That's when I booked this room and then later got the MP tix and then later (did I mention this?) got the Rod Stewart tix...................the weather was beautiful!! I didn't get tix for my girls so we are totally in for MP this summer (I just have to book my room, what days are you going, LuLu?)

TrayTRay is home, let's just go to KOP and do some Cheesecake F!!!:cool1:

We are about to meet with the rents and my bro's family for MDay.........talk to you soon!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!

I spend the day outside planting flowers, trimming, etc. I actually had a good time! The boys mowed the lawn. Marshall planted his vegetable garden and Mallory planted her flower garden. The both have their own "space". I don't do anything......except buy the goods!! Yesteday I power washed the deck and then tonight we had dinner outside. It was really a good day in general.

Mark and the kids got me tickets to see Mamma Mia in two weeks in Cincinnati for Mother's Day. We (Mark & I) will go on Sunday (Memorial Day weekend) night. I am so excited since I LOVE Abba music and have been wanting to see it for awhile!

So, you went to see MP JoAnn?????:woohoo: It's nice to get a "scouting report"!!!! I am very excited to see it as are M&M!!!

Lucy is finally graduating after all these years!:yay:

Lynn??? How's it going?

I bet Debi and Micco are having a blast in LV!!:thumbsup2

SERIOUSLY.............WE WILL ALL LOVE MP!!!!!!!!! Probably one the BEST Bway shows in a long time.....................I'm so excited to see it with you all!!:goodvibes I tried to get the rents to come to no avail........cranky wankies......

:dance3:

I will find replacements if I have to!!! Glad to hear you had a nice w/e Jenster, you deserve it.............school is winding down around here........it's alittle intense.............:cool2:

Where's Lucky???

Where's the LV trip report!! I know, I know....whatever happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas............

OMG is all I can say. We got home about 9:30 last night, and all I can say is what an outrageous time we had. WE LOVED VEGAS!

My husband is an amazing man, he had such a trip planned. We stayed at Caesar's (very nice), spent the day exploring on Friday. We had dinner at Delmonico's for our anniversary Friday night, did the corny gondola ride at the Venetian, then crashed early. Saturday, we did a little more exploring, then Micco had a fantastic trip planned for the afternoon. We did a helicopter ride into the Grand Canyon. It was awesome. And...I hurled in the canyon...now how many people can say that. We had the front seats on the way in, and when the pilot started coming into the canyon, I felt very nauseous. Fought it all the way, but as soon as we got out, I had to barf....oh well. But aside from that, it is probably one of the most incredible sites I have ever seen. Then we came back into Vegas with the sunset and saw Vegas from the air at night, it was just awesome.

On Sunday, we did some more exploring, did the Roller Coaster at NY NY, and saw some really funny sites there....have to tell you when I see you....had the girls hysterical last night. And Sunday night was the ICING ON MY CAKE. We had tickets for Elton John, Micco did not know where the seats were. I had gone up to the room for a power nap when he went to the Box Office to get the seats. Well to make a long story short, we wound up with 2nd row center seats, yes Jenny you know what that means. WE GOT TO GO UP ON STAGE AND SING SATURDAY NIGHT WITH ELTON. OMG, OMG, OMG:banana:   I was definitely a dancing banana that night....lol. I got as close as I could, was right in front, and he sang right to me, looked right at me, and of course I was singing and dancing the whole time....It was unbelievable....even Micco was on the stage dancing.....I was like a little kid, I felt like I was seeing him for the first time. Most of those people sitting in the first 2 rows, really did not deserve to be there, but I did, and I was, and man it was an experience I will never forget.
After the show, we went downtown (which we were not impressed with).

And then one final surprise, we flew home first class....awesome....like I said, Micco is an amazing man, he pulled this one off...I haven't been this happy in a while. It was so great to spend time with the man I love, to celebrate our anniversary like that. It was definitely one of the best vacations I have ever been on, so many firsts, so many wonderful memories......thank you, husband....

So I am on Cloud 9, and probably will be for awhile. I just had to share with you all!

I am taking the day off today, feel a little guilty, but I am exhausted, just got used to the time change, and now I am back on NY time.

Have a great day all!

Debi

WOW!!! Keith come and read this!!!
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

So glad you had a great time I knew Micco was a sweetie went he got up early to get me bagels;)

Now as you know my US geography isn't too hot is conneticutt (sp) anywhere near any of you , one of my good friends sons is there teaching soccer and I wondered if I could pass on any of your addresses to him his name is Phillip, he's 21 and very sweet, he's in the states until November.

WOWsa:cool1:

Ah, Lynn, you MAY want to pass on the address of Alex or Tray-Tray, or Tara-Tara.....:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Loving the reports from the 'crossing' - they ARE having rough seas, though.

Yes! I will be checking on the crossing next......I'd be afraid to cross the Atlantic due to the seas................:confused3

WTG, Micco, great trip report!! So cool, so many great memories......Ken & I did the gondola ride, too funny! WTG, on the Elton experience!!

Tara is "otherwise occupied" but Traceeeeeeeeeeeeeee is AVAILABLE....SHE'S 20 YEARS OLD...........hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..................(I wonder if she'll ever see this...........):rotfl: Sure tell your friend, Tracye wants to meet him...........:dance3: :rolleyes1 :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Seriously, we're not too close to Connecticut, it's about 5 hours away? It's closer to NYC.....perhaps we could come up with something......could he meet us in NYC in the summer (would that be weird?) The soccer connection would be cool......let me know what you think, Lynnee.

Where in Connecticut Lynn? Depending on where it could be an hour and half to up to 4 hours. I am sure Alex would entertain.....
Debi

Jenny Oh and by the way, I may have to change my tagline....I actually met an awful margarita this weekend. Worst I have ever had, couldn't drink it. Paid $12 for it at Neptunes Bar at Caesar's, I had to throw half of it out. Then we discovered Margaritaville right across the street, $7.25, and they were great!!!!

Debi

Wow, what a long day today! Perhaps, I'm ready for summer after all! How many days for you, Jenneee?

Wasn't Margaritaville Great? I have been to three of them, Orlando, New Orleans and, of course, Key West (the best). It's funny in Key WEst because the bartenders were shooting tequilla right along with the patrons!:lmao:

It's great because right here in the little ole midwest we have "Cheeseburger in Paradise" restaurants. GREAT margaritas and Cabo Wabo tequilla to boot! Nothing better!!!:cool2:

JoAnn ~ if you really are interested:lmao: I have 7 days with students. One teacher workday, but those are a bust!:rolleyes1

o.k....I got Mama Mia tickets for Mother's Day and ended up selling them today. My favorite baseball player, Bronson Arroyo, is also a great guitar player and singer. He is putting on a benefit concert on Sunday the 27th. We have VIP seats to see AND meet him!! I figure I can see Mama Mia anytime. It will be here in town next season (fall/winter). I know I am nuts!!!:confused3

Lynn ~ Don't be too hard on yourself. My geography only says Connecticut is out east!! Give me a map and I can tell you by shape though!!!!:lmao: I couldn't tell you where anything is in Great Britain. I watch Jeoprody and the questions on geography, particularly Europe are a big DUH to me!!! But, drive me there once and I never forget!!!:yay:

speaking of......does anyone ever watch "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader"???? Isn't it amazing what you don't retain when you don't use it! I get excited when it's a question within my curriculum though!!!:rotfl2:

Hey Jenee, you can probably get a "twofer" when you are in NYC for Mama Mia, no worries!!

Hope all are well, I'm just trying to keep up with the Magic crossing the Atlantic!!

hey all!! glad everyone is doing well...just stopping in to say hi! Lynn, I would love to meet up with your friends son, I cant resist a man with an accent...although I must be honest, mom forgot to mention I'm actually in a relationship now (Woah, thats weird to say!) but hey, ya never know!!

Hope all the mommas out there had a great mothers day! I worked the shift from hell at cheesecake factory (long story short, the kitchen staff had war paint on...thats how bad it was!!) although i did have my car broken into in harlem last week (thats what I get for having a struggling actor boyfriend who lives there haha!!)

but hopefully we can see you all soon!!
