OMG is all I can say. We got home about 9:30 last night, and all I can say is what an outrageous time we had. WE LOVED VEGAS!
My husband is an amazing man, he had such a trip planned. We stayed at Caesar's (very nice), spent the day exploring on Friday. We had dinner at Delmonico's for our anniversary Friday night, did the corny gondola ride at the Venetian, then crashed early. Saturday, we did a little more exploring, then Micco had a fantastic trip planned for the afternoon. We did a helicopter ride into the Grand Canyon. It was awesome. And...I hurled in the canyon...now how many people can say that. We had the front seats on the way in, and when the pilot started coming into the canyon, I felt very nauseous. Fought it all the way, but as soon as we got out, I had to barf....oh well. But aside from that, it is probably one of the most incredible sites I have ever seen. Then we came back into Vegas with the sunset and saw Vegas from the air at night, it was just awesome.
On Sunday, we did some more exploring, did the Roller Coaster at NY NY, and saw some really funny sites there....have to tell you when I see you....had the girls hysterical last night. And Sunday night was the ICING ON MY CAKE. We had tickets for Elton John, Micco did not know where the seats were. I had gone up to the room for a power nap when he went to the Box Office to get the seats. Well to make a long story short, we wound up with 2nd row center seats, yes
Jenny you know what that means. WE GOT TO GO UP ON STAGE AND SING SATURDAY NIGHT WITH ELTON.
OMG, OMG, OMG

I was definitely a dancing banana that night....lol. I got as close as I could, was right in front, and he sang right to me, looked right at me, and of course I was singing and dancing the whole time....It was unbelievable....even Micco was on the stage dancing.....I was like a little kid, I felt like I was seeing him for the first time. Most of those people sitting in the first 2 rows, really did not deserve to be there, but I did, and I was, and man it was an experience I will never forget.
After the show, we went downtown (which we were not impressed with).
And then one final surprise, we flew home first class....awesome....like I said, Micco is an amazing man, he pulled this one off...I haven't been this happy in a while. It was so great to spend time with the man I love, to celebrate our anniversary like that. It was definitely one of the best vacations I have ever been on, so many firsts, so many wonderful memories......thank you, husband....
So I am on Cloud 9, and probably will be for awhile. I just had to share with you all!
I am taking the day off today, feel a little guilty, but I am exhausted, just got used to the time change, and now I am back on NY time.
Have a great day all!
