I'm listening to the Mary Poppins CD as I speak to you guys. Work is nasty - there is construction going on outside my office for the last week, and will continue....dust everywhere - i can't stop sneezing. I finally got my PINK hard-hat that I've asked for...it is SO CUTE. YEP, glad I'm getting out, this construction will go on for two more years.

Saturday night Bob and I are meeting up with a couple that will be going on the Canal cruise - they live about an hour away from us....we are meeting half-way...hope I'm not shy when I meet them and have nothing to say

Going to see the Blue Man Group in the Village tonight. I bought Micco tickets for his birthday. He always wanted to go, and I didn't really want to, but when I read up on it, it sounds quite interesting. We are sitting in the 2nd row "the poncho section" as they call it, should be fun. I will let you know.

So, Lucky, I was trolling around last night.............AND I FOUND YOUR POST ON YOUR CRUISE THAT SAID YOU WERE MEETING THESE NEW PEOPLE!! I thought it was cool but I was concerned............seriously, have fun, but don't forget where your roots are!!!

I've been on the "other" thread quite a bit.....it's nice to have something to look forward to..........I'm going to have to book something while onboard for next summer.............I really don't want to go back to the West Coast! I can't afford another big trip like this summer...................this is a tough one!

I've never seen the Blue Man group, Debi, but I've heard about it............so tell us all about it!!!

The KOP idea is great, when??? Also, let's start planning your trip to the beach, people!!! Will Jenneee be able to take a trip down for the day while she's here in July?? I KNOW the kids would love it! We could even do a barbecue on the beach!! Let me know. Also, Lucy, (Bob), how much do I need to send you guys for MP? Momster might come, even if the PARTY POOPER is being difficult.........perhaps, being that it is around the time of their anniversary, he'll relent..........we'll see!!! I need to know details! Please PM me when you can!! Perhaps, those lurkers will be by soon!

Just got back from meeting some new people....What was YOUR name again? I know I USED to know your names We told our new acquaintances about all our friends we met two years ago...(oh, I thought it would be best not to mention Bill [JT] till we got to know these people a little better)

joking, my dear friends. I can't wait to see you guys again ...so wish we could see Lynn and Keith again this year too. Hey you people in Philly, weren't we gonna plan a trip to England when one of 'our' girls was over there?

Busy, busy weekend for us here....today bob and I had eye appointments - he needs glasses, i need my normal $1 glasses from Dollar Tree, but I need to see a specialist.....what else is new....my mom has glaucoma, and he is seeing the start of something in my eyes too. Tomorrow I must go to a family baby shower, and we already know she is having a girl, so of course I had to go to the Disney Store today and buy little girl clothing...they have the neatest tropical clothing right now....have I mentioned before how much I love little and big girls! Then, of course, it is Monday already. Jenny almost finished with school? Poor Lynn must be in school for a LONG while...me? shall I remind you all about June 22!

Lucky, the English trip has been postponed until next year......(evidently, I got the dates wrong!!) Tara is supposed to move to other cities starting next winter, so we're going to visit her there (you in?)......You can see Lynn on the ship this summer (I hear there's some great rates in the Cat 12 section!) I can't promise good rates on the air however (come with us, I'll hold your hand!) So..................HOW ARE YOUR NEW FRIENDS????

Lucy has forgotten about us already.... ...new friends...bet they're not as cool as us OLD friends....

Anyway, Blue Man Group was quite interesting.... We had 2nd row seats and had to wear ponchos (but really didn't need them). The show was almost 2 hours, by then end of the show, the whole aduience had been toilet papered (it was really rolls of crepe paper that they unrolled on practically the whole audience). There were mounds of it on us. Micco really enjoyed it, it was his birthday present (I never know what to get my man). I liked it too, it was a fun show. We had dinner before the show at Umberto's Clam House in Little Italy. Nice dinner, good food. Believe it or not, I have never been to Little Italy. Very cute, what I saw of it. So this year, we plan on doing the San Genaro Festival in September, anyone in?????

Now we are off to the city again to the National Stationery Show. They have a lot of scrapbook companies that come to the show, so hopefully I can spend some $$$ and get good stuff. Micco likes to come with me, it's the only show in the area that I get to go to, so we make a day of it.

well......quite a lot of activity here on the boards this weekend!

Mark and I left Friday evening after Mallory's McDonald's birthday party. Fifteen screaming 2nd graders at a playplace.....drives you to drinking anyday!! We drove to Cincinnati and went to a restored bank that is a piano bar. Had a great time listening to a couple play music and sing. Spent yesteday hanging out. Sat. evening we went to the wedding of our best friend'ss daughter. It was at the Cincinnati Country Club (which is over 100 years old). We get out of the cab and they are standing there with sangria! The ceremony was outside. Can't say I have ever drank DURING a ceremony! Short, sweet and enlightening! Then it was off to the dinner and open bar. Needless to say I got my money's worth!

Had to be on the road this morning by 10 to get Mallory to a school pitch in. I HATE those dang things. I cannot eat when I don't know what the kitchen looks like. At least in restaurants they have health standards. So, I came home aftewards and ordered pizza. I am EXTREMELY tired....wonder why?

Blue Man Group....saw them in Chicago a few years ago when they were fairly new. They performed at the half of the Big Ten basketball tournament. The kids loved them too!

School is down to FIVE student days.......

I think it's great Lucy is making new friends. It reminds her of how cool we are!!!!! Just kidding....it's neat that they live so close and you can meet face to face.

Off to rest.......I am not getting any younger...I reminded myself of that this morning...whew!!!!

my summer class starts today andi'm not looking forward to it.. i am beginning to slightly regret taking it but we'll see how it goes i guess!

so there have been rumors of english boy whose 21 and will be on the cruise this summer?!?! lets bring him to one of those little meet things or something!!! i'm in.. not that you guys aren't enough for me but hey.. as u all know from the mother i'm single and ready!!!!
