I wrote this extensive post yesterday and the boards logged off and noone saw it! Now I can't remember what I said!

We are doing extremely well......last week was a nightmare, the weekend was tough but now.............we are doing well............Ken is at peace with everything.......however, he plans to run the NY Marathon and do a American Cancer Society donation in his dad's honor...........so anyone (Loose?) who wants to run with him or cheer him on........Lynn? Keith? Debs? Mic?.....Rents?......Jenster?? (have I missed anyone??)this could be our next DIS reunion guys.......with Ken & Lucy running........ I'll let you the weekend dates......

Cheering Ken on in NYC sounds like fun!

At this point, Bob AND Lucy would like the older son to move more than 10 states away! I don't know how much more we can take with him.

I had a GREAT lunch today...I got to babysit a 2 month old little girl, that just slept in my arms the whole time.....the 'mum' had a hard time getting the child away from me...it was a beautiful lunch.

ahhhh Lucy you will be in WDW soon. Is DS20 going? You guys will have a great time. My girlfriend who had her baby in Dec. is back to work. I sure DON'T miss the baby days now listening to her schedule. I can't imagine at her age (40) starting all over again! I was too old to have M&M!!!

Busy weekend: tomorrow haircuts for tyler (you have NO idea what a hard job that is...the kid HATES haircuts) and me, this morning another dentist appt. , tomorrow take Tyler for clothing for Florida , bob works the entire weekend, Sunday I must work on my mom's apartment and clean it out (speaking of 'mum' I'm worried she has developed pneumonia again, but the nursing home doesn't seem interested in my concern).....

I keep trying to go on late at night and the boards are closed.....I get so depressed!!

Yes!... I still have a few days to...................oh, nothing!

Tara is definitely sick of all of us...........she's keeping a "stiff upper lip." (British humor) The Rents, my brother and his family and Ken, Jess & I are going but we're not staying with her. We're really just using her as an excuse to go back to Miami!!!

Thx to Tyler for missing us!! GL to you, Loosey, with your mom "stuff".....it's so hard!!

We are heading down to Richmond for the w/e for the "Jefferson Cup," another college showcase and then Ken is making me drive to Old Dominion University to visit another college.............torture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think we're going to visit EVERY university within a 5 hour radius of our home until this is over...............we still have to go to Boston................

I'll be on this w/e, we're bringing the laptop.............hey everyone..........TGIF!

We are off in the a.m. to Cincinnati. Miss Mallory has her American Girl Photo Shoot! She will be trying on what she is going to model in the style show (April 21st) and then a photographer will do the shoot. This should be interesting! She has about drove us NUTS this week!!!

so funny - this Mallory thing is SO NOT YOU! BUT it is something I have dreamed about ever since I wanted children...dressing up a girl, beauty pageants....WAIT a MINUTE! I NEVER wanted children
why isn't there an e-bay to sell my kids!

SPEAKING of brats, Tyler and I got our haircuts for Florida today, NOW, the headache starts, taking him for shirts...this KID always wants to look like a slob! and he dresses like one too! can't find any nice looking shirts (I would even buy him tee-shirts that were decent, but he must continue to wear the ones with holes)..!!
He WANTS to keep his hair long so the 'girls can run their hands thru it' - I asked him why he doesn't want to dress nicely for them too!
It is an ongoing battle

The photo shoot was nice. Mallory is modeling a pair of lavendar silk jammies and carrying the doll "Nellie". That is so funny because she has begged and begged me to let her have her hair cut, possibly a bob. And, what does this doll look like?? Just that!! They pinned her hair under to look like a bob, sat her in a white window sill with white "tooling" (sp?) and put purple/blue hydrangeias by her. It was cute. Her show is April 21st.

Opening Day is just 8 days away!!!!

Lucy ~ Tyler is concerned about girls running their hands through his hair. When did he get a girlfriend???? Might want to pose that question to him!!!

Where is Debi, Lynn, Ali, Bill, etc.?????

OH BTW ~ My friend at work has a niece that is doing the college program at WDW. She is Pooh!! She, like our friend Minnie, is having the time of her life!!!!

We are back, Jess made it to the finals and we lost in a shootout by one goal (typical!) Still beautiful Spring (Summer) weather in VA, it felt great! It's not WDW but we'll take it!!

I haven't heard JuicyLucy in awhile - friends (?) used to call me that

SO, I DID post yesterday and lost the whole thing - once again, forget it!

What I was complaining about yesterday was all the running I had to do for Tyler for church (confirmation class, at 10-2 and 6) - it was ridiculous. I was tired last night from all the housework and running, my legs ached like crazy.
I didn't sit down ONE time unless I was sitting in a car!

AND, Saturday, I accidentally found a Phillies game on TV for my mom, unfortunately it was in the last inning, with that "other team" - when the Phillies lost (and that red team won) - I said to mom (she doesn't speak to me at all anymore, just answers me), uh-oh, mom, those Reds beat the Phillies, you know I'm going to get a call from my friend...it totally made her smile! (even though I didn't get a call!!! )
Honestly people, IF I could find a Phillies game on TV everyday for her, she would at least smile once in awhile - although, she WILL watch ANY team (you know, I mean those Reds!) - and she watches the Yankees for me.

We must take Tyler for his final shopping trip tonight (I hope), another thing I did Saturday and it wasn't pretty!
We leave Friday afternoon from the school, our flight is at 5:15.

Honestly, Bill, I can't get into the Final Four this year. (we used to GO all the time). Mark isn't a fan of Thad Matta. He was here in Indiana at Butler, then went to Xavier (Cincy). When questioned by media about the OSU job opening, he claimed he was an "X" man through and through. Two days later he was the OSU coach. Just don't lie dude!!! Greg Oden takes three classes (true story) Sociology, coaching of basketball, and history of rock and roll!!! I bet he is worn out!! Can you say "NBA, here I come?" I say G'town. I like how professional the Thompson, Jr. boy seems. You know that Ewing Jr. kid playing at G'town was at Indiana two years ago and the last coach ticked him off. Good for Ewing! He is doing much better there!!!!

The weather has been awesome here too! 80s yesterday and today. It is to be 70s and 80s until the weekend. Of couse, Opening Day is Monday and it's supposed to be in the high 50s, low 60s! PLEASE STAY warm a little longer!!

Still recovering from the weekend, of course, no wash was done, we're still unpacking and I'm beat!! I have to regroup to get ready for next week. At least, I'm not leaving until Sunday night so I can pack on the weekend for a change................

So.................the Lucster.............is leaving on Friday...........hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....that should work!
