I registered Ken but it's really ME!!! I spoke to the TA today to book our trip on Tuesday.................I want to get in on the ground floor, hear what the prices are and then decide.................so what is the consensus of the group??

As of now, I will book July 28, DCL. I will check RCL by Tuesday to see what options we have!

Did you guys get that latest DVC book with all the EE in it?? Marshall has carried it around for THREE DAYS! He's like a dang walking WDW encyclopedia! They passed out assignments for famous people the other day in his class, and lo and behold the kid got the assignment to write about WALT DISNEY!!! His teacher sure knows how to motivate him!!!!

We are thrilled! Mark has always recognized Daylight Savings even the last 11 years living in Indiana. However, our children sometimes got a little confused when they would ask the time and we would simultaneouly give them two different times!! This means now when school is in session, I can make first pitch in Cincinnati!!!!

SLEEP??? What the heck is that????

DebiWell, you worried about me getting less sleep, well I just GOT OUT OF BED!!!!! Everyone was so tired and even left me alone when they woke up!!! They gave us a suite, so the kids were in the other room!

I haven't ever seen a president before! I don't care who the president is, it's just cool to see one!!! My kids are really excited. Their teachers took a whole new attitude when the kids told them that they would see him. I think now they can justify that it's "educational"?? To heck with a family trip and quality time, right?

It's a pretty day here and is suppose to be fairly nice tomorrow. I hope it doesn't rain!

As for July..........we are July 23-Aug. 2. I am not sure what time our flight comes in, but we will be there as soon as we get our "lift" from Mr. Jack! I think we arrive mid day. I am just ready to sit by the pool and relax! JoAnn, are any of your girls coming? Lucy, is Bryan coming?

You guys are welcome to borrow "The Princess" anytime you want! You'll quickly learn that cute "only goes so far" and she won't get you across the street!!!!

Mallory and Marshall are con-artists, especially with the "softie" of the family, Mr. Mark. Yesterday, Mallory took Mark into the Reds gift shop and came out with a new Reds windsuit. Marshall and Mark went to Toys 'r' Us for a charger for Marshall's Nintendo DS. He came back with a charger, new case and a game (in otherwords, a $12 charger cost me $60!!! ) HMMMM....maybe I need to take Mark somehwere today....there's a mall attached to our hotel???

Weather here has been great, today is absolutely gorgeous. Yesterday we had a little rain, but otherwise in the 70s. I hope it stays like this, I love this type of weather. I think it is going to be hot in Fla. next week though, not sure I am ready for that.

I'm back, I can't get my new name on this account. Ken ALMOST joined us today and then he chickened out.

I'm not sure Jenny about the girls. DD16 can't come b/c a of FH camp. The other two are waiting to see what their summer jobs are. Ken and I are looking forward to just chillin', we never do that alone!! We'll see?

Actually a better countdown is for us to start packing for next week!! I'm so psyched, it COULD NOT come at a better time!!!

I think God created Disneyworld to help us survive our lives........don't you agree???

I'm completely stressed out today........our school play will begin tomorrow, I'm working with a psycho everyday (for 9 more days) and I have to go to Harrisburg with her on Thursday on an all day school trip........yikes!!!! Pray for me and TG for MM!!!

The whole way home last night was our favorite "talk radio" show and the whole segment was about if people were disappointed with the day. Not us! Most people weren't either. Opening Day in Cincinnati is a "holiday". Many do not work or go to school! It is all about the fact that the Reds were the first major league team and the city loves celebrating it each year. Heck, we saw a fun parade, got to see a president, and had family time together. That's a great day to me! I don't get too bummed about losses, especially when it comes to the Reds! I feel good about what is to come in the next 2-3 years!

It was COLD though! I wasn't quite prepared. I had the kids prepared, but not myself. The wind was BRUTAL!! The funny part was that my school was cancelled!!! We had BAD storms and there was no power until late last night at work. Our power evidentally didn't go off at home because there were no flashing clocks! We had major limbs down. Mark had to clear the driveway of small limbs to get in last night! I fear another make up day, but we could obtain a waiver for this one! I hope so! I had such grandios plans for Chicago Memorial Day weekend (through Tuesday!!!)!!!

Okay I've booked a cabin for the Med a cat 11 but on deck 7 aft 7129 so very close to the aft 7 public deck I figure with all thise ports we won't be in our cabin much anyhow!!! $5316 for both of us not too bad for 11 days but then we haven't got airfare on top, toying with the idea of not doing this and doing the 10 day carribbean at xmas instead, but prices are more plus we would have airfare...but we would get to play in WDW for 4 days before flying home....what to do what to do???? anyone else still planning a med voyage??

you could come see us in April, in July, in October.......IF you choose not to do the Med. That WAS a great price for you and Keith. And the airfare won't be as bad as from the States.

Gotta tell you a bad mommy story (again) - Tyler is home sick with a cough....I don't believe he is THAT sick that he couldn't go to school, but
we allowed him to stay home, BUT, get this, he just rented a video game that he absolutely loves and was playing it last night, SO I took the game to work today, so I know he isn't sitting playing video games all day!

Jenny - I was thinking about you last night with that terrible weather. We had a wicked lightening storm and some thunder last evening. I can't believe it is freezing outside again.

Lucy before I'd read your post I knew I had to come over to WDW sometime I can't go right through to Xmas 2007 without a Disney Hit, this is the downside of a Med cruise no chance to fit in a bit of disney worship. All sorts of ideas were considered today, all too expensive with the med cruise as well. Then I looked at prices in October this is doable, I will confirm in the next few days, first Keith has to book vacation time but it looks as if the Tarrants will be doing Mickeys halloween Party plus the food and drink festival dates are Oct 21st - 26th at WDW and the 26-28 at the other Orlando theme park, dare I mention the name!!!! When are you there in Oct Lucy??
If any of you DVCers want to rent any points we'd love to do the WLV again. For a 1 bed we'd need 143 points I think, for a studio only 71.
We would like to try for a one bed as we'd like to invite my cousin's 2 teens They've never been to WDW and we said we'd try and get them there sometime. If any of you can help let me know if not I'll flit over to the DVC board again I got lucky last time no harm in trying again.
