I love credit cards so much! v7.0 - 2025 (see first page for add'l details)

Ugh. Missed the 80,000 Citi AA card offer because DH was waffling between United & AA for his next card. There's a 75,000 biz offer, but he had the card before and I made the last payment on that on 12/1/21, so not quite 48 months yet, assuming he got the bonus in November. Wish I had paid more attention last week!
Is 48 months from when he earned to last bonus not when he closed the account

Wishing you good luck on the application 🤞. We were able to get one more in with a support.
“DH” applied for a CIU from my support link this morning and was instantly approved with a $14k CL, he had 4 Chase business cards open. We do use the cards a lot for my eBay business and had balances on all of them. His last application was in May

Edited to add…reading a report on Reddit that Chase changed the support language early…it now says only for new Chase business customers so looks like I will not get the20k URs…but at least he was approved
I didn't read the support link when I did it, when did the wording change??

Has anyone ever disputed a charge on an Amex Biz card? It wasn't a biz purchase LOL, but I was sent the wrong items, and I am not getting a reply from the merchant. A little worried about ruffling any feathers with Amex.

I got a new CIU in August when the SUB was 75K. I am just now seeing the SUB was raised to 90K. Is this a situation where I can send Chase a SM and ask to be matched to the higher bonus? I know that used to be a thing but I don’t know if Chase still does that or if my timing is still good. I have not yet earned my SUB if that matters.

There were some match DPs for people who asked right when the new SUB came out. But all the later DPs were no.

I was denied for that match.

Hope you still get it! I would think if someone generates a link with the 10/7 date and gives it to someone, they should still get the support if the person applies before that day. If would be like false advertising if they didn't.

Now if it's tied to the link and the one generated with the change doesn't get it but the one generated with the date does, then I can see the argument for that. But the link I generated yesterday morning and the one I just generated now is exactly the same. I didn't double check the support terms when I generated it, but I think the change happened after that.

Maybe around midnight EST. Someone still saw the old wording at 9 pm EST.

I know several people commented previously that they've been to Victoria, BC. I'm looking at staying for 2 nights at either the Hotel Grand Pacific, or the Victoria Marriott Inner Harbor. Both are about the same amount of points through the Chase Portal. Has anyone stayed at either, and would recommend one over the other?

ETA: There's also the Chateau Victoria Hotel, for about 10K less URs, and it looks fine for our standards. So I'll take thoughts on any of these. We won't have a car, we will be coming in on ferry, so walkability/location is key for us. These are all in the general same area it appears.

Anyone have any thoughts on this? I got half of the order right, but half is wrong. Wishing I had used a different card now, as I wouldn't question disputing the charge with Chase.

I have, I also I used to work for Amex, they just file the dispute with the correct coding saying items not received etc and contact the merchant if the merchant doesn’t respond they charge the merchant back so it shouldn’t have any reflection on you. Sometimes if the amount isn’t a lot Amex will just credit you themselves instead of doing the dispute process.

So the fact that it's a biz card with a personal purchase, won't raise eyebrows?

Chase Marriott Boundless Personal Credit Card

This may have already been posted but just in case someone didn't see it.

Offer came out September 29 for 125,000 points plus a 50K free night with $3000 spend. After renewal you would get a yearly 35K certificate. $95 annual fee.

www.Doctorofcredit.com doesn't see this as a 'best' offer - he preferred the 5 times 50k FNC offer.

Personally I think it's a great offer for those of us who use 'on the road' hotels that range in the low 20K's.

Also, points don't expire, certs do, so juggling them can become tiresome.

In general I prefer points. They don't expire but there's always the chance of devaluation. My recent use of an 85K cert coming up is for a 57k room. Makes me feel as if I'm wasting 28k points! I hesitate to hold it longer as I have no real plan for it and the return could end up being lower.

For far ahead planners these might work well to start or beef up a supply.
