I was totally tame all weekend, thank you! Had a blast Sat. night at a comedy club seeing a combo. hypnotist/comedian. Laughed so hard I cried! Birthday dinner at the Cheesecake Factory was definitely awesome!

JT Mark called me at work yesterday with the "breaking news" about the GM firing. Funny, when the new owner took over Friday, I liked the "fire" in his eyes. I told Mark that if he were smart, he would get rid of the G.M. Monday morning. Mark thought that with one year on his contract, he'd let him stick around................WRONG! I was thrilled. The guy was an idiot!! This new guy is SERIOUS. He has moved into the offices there and is running a tight ship. He put the C.O.O. back into the C.F.O. position where he needed to be. (I would have gotten rid of him too!!), but I think that will be a short relationship as well!

Debs Wish I were at MGM this weekend! I thought that was so neat that Micco went down there. What a nice relationship, a father and daughter!!

JoAnn It sounds like you had a great birthday too!!!

I hate to say this guys, but the Med prices Kathy is throwing out there are not good. There is no way our family of five can do that.... I am not sure that's how I want to spend my $$ anyway. I might consider the Eastern cruise (we've done the Western) in 2007, but no way on the Med. Sorry!

Sorry Guys, I didn't mean to freak everybody out with my guestimates regarding Med 2007 pricing but I do think it's going to be ugly. I hope I'm wrong and DCL realizes that although strong interest exists few will be able/willing to spend what will when all is said and done cost upwards of $20K. My guess is that the sailings will be well over 50% occupied by Europeans since it will seem like a deal to them with the strong Euro vs. US dollar and no transatlantic airfare. Wouldn't it be funny if after all this speculation DCL doesn't end up in the Med in 07 afterall?

I just booked an Easter 2007 Western Caribbean cruise on....RCCL. "Freedom of the Seas" just looks so cool. There's even a waterpark for the kids. We're booked to sail on 8 April 2007 (Easter Sunday) out of Miami.

You are far more "seasoned" at looking at these things than I am in a reality sort of way. I just "want to go", but not look at it from the $$ perspective. That's why I married an accountant!!!! I sure am good at spending it though!!!!

Come on, let's not panic until we get all the details .......as I mentioned before, I think, we could have such fun in WDW, since we all are such fans! It would be a lot cheaper to meet there. We are booked in April so if we come down in July, it would only be a short visit . I am open but not committing, yet! My girls' schedules are a strong factor and I have to see what's coming up this summer. (Tara will graduate from Temple, Tracy's summer job is a big question mark and Jessica's sports schedule is always a factor. I will definitely try very hard to come, but it's too early for me to book . (Ken's always up for a little fun, so that's no problem. )

Hello all! Hope everyone is well! I have been lurking for awhile and Deb keeps me well informed of our Dis group. To all the fine Dis ladies who just had their youthful birthdays, happy belated birthday! Looking forward to this superbowl,the Steelers haven't been there in awhile( sorry Jenn ) Go Steelers! Kathy please give my regards to my cigar buddy! Hope he is well. I did have an enjoyable time shooting the breeze and and enjoying a cigar on the cruise with Ted. I had an awesome time this past weekend with Alex. I miss her so. It was a spur of the moment trip. It was really special to see her at work. She's in her element,with good people around her. I wish her nothing but the best.It was difficult to say see you later! I did take alot of pictures though! Lynn and Keith welcome to New York! You are more than welcome to stay with us! We are a short distance to the city. The train that we take to the Staten Island Ferry is right down the block! It would be great to see you both once again! Perhaps we can have a mini reunion since we have several Dis people in the area. What do you think Bait Boy? I gotta say I love that name. Ken and Bob hope all is well with you. Micco- I want to hear all about Expedition Everest! I was on Deb Wills site and read some of the early previews and it sounds Awesome!! I can't wait to ride this summer.
A mini "reunion" in New York? Were there !!! I would love to see everyone again and have Lynn and Keith, BB & Alice, and Kathy & Ted possibly join us this time. It would be a blast!! But of course, we'd like to see all of you in WDW as well!!!!

Bob ~ I am not worried about the bar tab. Remember, I am married to Mark?? I know you still have visions of Mark in his swim suit, ball hat, dorky KTTW holder hanging around his neck, and most importantly, the every popular ESPN refillable mug!!!! The kids hate that card holder that he wears at WDW/DCL. We decided it's like a pocket protector for a CPA on vacation!!!! One drink of a rollercoaster and you'll keep Lucy in her room the whole trip!!!

Micco ~ How cool of you to visit us as well. I got tears in my eyes just thinking about you getting on that plane just to spend a couple of days with Alex!!! So special! Keep that July option open for our little Dis anniversary reunion!!!!

Oh well.....come March 11th he's all mine(with the kids in tow)!!!!! Well, I guess I should say Feb. 25th when the two of us (alone!!) go to Dallas. It now appears that a couple of the girls from his office are going as well. (not a biggie). He told them he got out of town once without me and didn't think he could do it again!!! Ken's thinking it over and I'm just trying to figure this out. I believe Jess leaves us from Fri. to Mon. (It might be Thurs.)
So when are the exact dates for everyone else?

I would love to see Lynn and Keith again. We usually go to the shore Memorial Day weekend. Is that the weekend you are talking about?

Lucy I p.m. you about "the date". It's not that exciting of a story and is all about my frustrating in-laws. So, if anyone wants to know how disfunctional we are, I'll copy it in a p.m. for you!!!!

Debi I am working on a trip to Yankee Stadium. It will probably be just John and me. We would drive out. Could we maybe crash at your house a night or two?? Maybe Micco (and you) would like to go to the game with us? It will definitely be a day game, so I know that is an issue. I know Micco told me he hadn't been to one and might go if we did sometime. This is just one of those things we HAVE to do this summer before they start doing something to Yankee Stadium. Any baseball freak has to see Yankee Stadium and Wrigley Field!!!!!

JoAnn How's it with the student teacher? Mine is awesome!! She is officially full time teaching on MOnday!!! I am going to clean the room, cabinets, files etc!!!!
