Crazy weekend........Ken and I decorated the whole house and got more of the shopping done.............we're almost finished, Lucy!! I'm exhausted and it's off to work tomorrow!!!

Crazy weekend, I agree! We took the kids to see Chicken Little and a big train display (Marshall LOVES trains). Watched the Indiana/Kentucky basketball game (college) in Kentucky (how sweet it was!). Bengals game on Sunday too close to even think about again, but a win is a win.

Almost done shopping. Mark is going to do the "fill in" shopping this week. The kids want to know when I am going to "finish" decorating. I started the tree Thanksgiving day, but with Mom sick I still don't have the ornaments on it! The tree is as decorating as I can get this year. They can do the ornaments tonight. I need to get on the treadmill and work off this weight I have "found". My poor jeans are TIGHT!!

Mom's doctor appt. is Wednesday. I am really getting tired of doctors. I can't imagine these poor folks who do this day in and day out. They are heroes to me!!

Jenny and JoAnn - I am jealous, shopping almost donw. I am going tonight to try to get more done and hope to be done by the w/e. At least the house is finally finished, we got our tree yesterday and put it up, it looks so nice and makes the house complete. I never realized how many Disney ornaments we have, probably about 1/2 to 3/4 of the tree is Disney, plus we bought so much this year because between DW and DL and the cruise, we spent a lot of time (and money) with Disney this year. I love it though, it looks great, and I am sure I will have more next Christmas!

Lynn - OK, so hold off on NYC, it will still be here whenever you want to come. But come try and join us in Disney this spring. We are trying to go down the same time as JoAnn and Ken, which is April 9-13. It would be great to meet you down there. Maybe we could get Lucy and Bob to swing it too. Hint hint. We are honored that you guys would try to plan a trip to see Alex!

Jenny - Go Bengals! I can't believe those stupid Jets won yesterday. Micco and I were soooo mad, they really know how to screw a season up...it goes with the territory, I have been a Jets fan for way too long!

I want all of you to know that our Christmas is finished - we celebrated with my family yesterday - presents done, opened and cleaned up - for the first time, EVER, I started a jigsaw puzzle last evening.....all that is left to do is
bake, and that is my FAVORITE thing to do.

Ok......Lucy..............I was jealous before..............now I'm crazy jealous!! How great to just enjoy the holiday and have fun.............that is truly a gift..............when are you leaving again???

I am working right up to Friday the 23rd and then after Christmas we go to Fort Lauderdale on the 26th for a soccer tournament ! I just feel like the holiday will be here and gone this year!

I hear ya Jenny.............pants have been tight all this fall !! I'm back to WW but I've only lost 4.6 since I joined (that's not enough!) I actually ran tonight (desparate times............ ) My class is still finishing the penpal notes. I'll send them back soon!

Hey alll!

I am taking Mom to Indy for surgery tomorrow. We spent all day up there today for pre-op. The doc says he thinks too that this spot is not malignant. They hope to take the gall bladder and spot out laproscopically all at once. They will then take 3-4 days to biopsy it. If it is too hard to reach, they may just open her all the way up.

WHERE'S KATHY??? I sure miss hearing from her!

DEBI is our "resident mouse" home yet or still at school? Is she still ? I would certainly think she is/should be!!!!

I have a weekend at home this weekend! I am really thankful. Another stressful week and still no gifts wrapped! I envy you LUCY ! Can I go with you guys to WDW???

JOANN I would be thrilled with 4+ pounds! Keep it up girl!!!!!

Only 2 more sleeps at home we stay at an airport hotel on friday night and fly early on saturday morning.
We'll see Lucy and Bob for sure haven't heard from Kathy, trying to work out our easter vacation dates but flights are really expensive then would love to go see the mouse with Debi and Joann
I'll post again before we go and we'll have the laptop so I'll try and post a bit while we are there, have a great holiday season everyone in case I don't manage to talk to you all again.. have fun

Jenny - Best wishes to mom, I hope everything goes well today.

Just freezing our butts off here in NY, ice storm for tonight. Today Micco and I are going to Alex's school for a send-off party for all the Disney kids. Should be fun!!! She finishes up and is home by the 22nd, we will be leaving for Disney probably on Saturday, 1/7. I can't wait to get out of this cold weather for a few days.

Lynn and Keith - Enjoy your vacation, and like JoAnn said, I hope it's not as fun as our cruise and you don't meet as many wonderful people as you met in August (only kidding).

Only 9 shopping days left, I have to get it done this weekend.

Hey all!

Mom is home and doing pretty good. I talk to her by phone frequently since she is alone. Just some pain but to expected for someone who has had out her gall bladder and a "chunk" of her liver the day before!

John made the basketball team at school yesterday! He didn't even call me to tell me........guess the kid thought it wasn't important given the day. I tried to make a big deal out of it. Typical junior higher. Yeah it's cool Mom!

No where to go this weekend. I am really happy. Mark and Marshall are looking for a good movie. Mallory wants to go to Nanny's and take care of the dog for her (saves me the agony). Mallory could probably nurse my mom pretty good. She's way too smart for me!!

Debi Mark came home tonight with all the ingredients for Margaritas!! He had a bottle of Respasado 1800 by sheer luck!! He had no idea that's what you used the weekend in NYC!!! I fixed myself up and am really relaxed!!

Lynn & Keith are on their way probably to the airport or sleeping right now there. I so envy them!!! I can never remember what time it is there! Certainly not now either with the Margaritas flowing!!

Kathy, oh Kathy............where are you! You should be on your way or soon to be to WDW!! Just think of me! I hate the cold weather.

Last night driving home from Indianapolis late I was really worried, which is unusual. I am a "driver". However, the roads looked like glass and that was just too much!!

Hey Jenny, I bought the 1800 last week too!............Debi/Micco's margarita's were amazing!!! I haven't used it yet...............WW tomorrow............ Maybe tomorrow night!!!

All my girls arrived home this week.......finally!! Let the games begin!!

Crazy storm yesterday..........but NO SNOW DELAY TODAY!
