Merry Christmas all! It was so fun watching the kids this morning when they saw what Santa had brought to grandma and grandpa's house. We are in NE Ohio at Mark's parents. It was nice for his folks, as they have NEVER been with the kids on Christmas morning.

I had a rough day yesterday. I was loading the car at the hotel. When I went to put down the hatch on my SUV, my nose got in the way (there was a cart behind me, so I though I had moved back enough without hitting it). :rotfl2: o.k. Now that you are all laughing, I think I broke it. I have a pretty big cut across the bridge. I hurt all the way to my shoulders. I walked back into the hotel and found Mark sitting at the bar waiting. He thought I had gotten into a FIGHT!! (I have NEVER gotten into one...). The bartender took one look at me and gave me a bag of ice and a shot of tequilla!!!! :rotfl: Needlesss to say the loss to the Bills made it hurt worse!!! ;)

We will be here until Tuesday a.m. The drive home is about six hours. Mark and I have a trip planned with three friends to Kansas City Sat and Sun to see the Bengals and Chiefs. The Chiefs quarterback played at Indiana, so I like seeing him play too. We are in a world of hurt.... At this point we are just glad to be in the playoffs at all! Hoping for a game on the 8th or the night of the 7th. John has his first tournament (basketball) on the 7th. I cannot imagine him and I missing the playoff game, but he will be there and I will support him. We both want Mark to go to the playoffs. I am not so sure that won't be the end of our season........

I wish I were with Lucy and Bob or Lynn and Keith! :cold: We are heading to the movies now to see Cheaper by the Dozen II...

Love to all! :grouphug:

HI
Happy Christmas everyone
Our Ship is still wonderful The big screen is excellent and the spa improvements are great just finished making a gingerbread house a first for me!!
Lucy and Bob it was so much fun meeting up with you again sorry it was so short.. We had a magical time at Disney, if you ever get to do the Mickey tour it was a lot of fun and Keith loved the Segways. Had Palo Brunch to day and PJ was his ever helpful self. Pike is still on board but no longer DJ he's been promoted to the entertainment staff proper.
I'll talk to you again tomorrow, hope you all had a great day with your familiesLove Lynn and Keith

Hi Lynn... thanks for posting. How's the weather? :sunny: I hope you guys are having an excellent time! :cheer2:

Bob and Lucy called me from the towncar when they arrived in Orlando. They used our favorite driver, so she just had to call!! It was neat to hear her voice! Anyone who needs a lift to WDW, I love this guy. He's like the kid's grandpa!!! He's reliable and very professional. :flower:

We are 1/2 hour to Williamsburg/Busch Gardens and 1/2 hour to the Oceanfront. I'm getting used to the idea of another year here. What choice do I have? I'll be busy rescheduling vacations this week. We're still going to Hilton Head 11-16 June but I'm going to cancel our 18-24 June Saratoga Springs reservation as well as our 24 June cruise. We'll be at BWV or BCV 7-13 October so we can do F&W and MNSSHP again. I wanted to do a 3-night Wonder Cruise 12-15 October but the Wonder will be in dry dock here in Norfolk during that time. That cruise will be available the following week but our annual passes expire on 15 October. We'll be at WDW 7-9 April and then at VB 9-16 April. I'm now going to plan to go to Coronado for 2 weeks this summer so let's pick a date for our VA reunion soon so I can plan around it. Since we're now scheduled to return to San Diego in June 2007 our summer 07 travel plans will have to change. If DCL does cruise the Med in 2007 we will tentatively travel to Europe on or about 6 June and then cruise on or about 16-23 June. We'll fly directly to CA on our return. I'm also very interested in the transatlantic cruise as we could do that and then tour Europe after the cruise. I'm going to contact Keith at All Seas today so he can waitlist us for both options. We are all currently waitlisted for 14 July but that will be too late for us as Ted will need to be in San Diego late June/early July. Will either of these options work for any of you guys? A transatlantic crossing on the Magic sounds like a once in a life time opportunity.

Gee wizz Jenny....you sure are a "action "lady. :cool1: ...sorry to hear of your latest incident.... :goodvibes but a picture would really help us appreciate your distress :cheer2: ....did you say the nose is broke... :confused3 in any case please accept our sympathies...did the bar tender give you a shot before the incident also..?? I would think that type injury would be followed up with two black eyes.. :rolleyes1 in which case you" must "send a picture.....

I lost track of your Bengals.. and the playoff's overall.. I thought your guys were in ...!! Being the magic team I hear they are, these first rounder's should be a piece of cake... :Pinkbounc

Did you notice how quiet it is...!! YeP, she's outta town again...
laying around in the sun :grouphug: Boy, we sure had a great weekend with the reunion, and the holiday...it was a lot of fun

abou the picture.....I'll have a 8X11 glossy..... who luv's ya....!!

I think I got off easy. No black eyes, but the cartlidge feels "strange". It may not be broke. I have a cut on my bridge. Funny thing, between the cut, a zit on my cheek and a fever blister on my lip, I have dubbed Mark a "wife beater". That's what I look like!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Bengals are guaranteed one home playoff game. Our opponent will be determined this weekend. It will be either Pittsburgh or Jacksonville. Both of which have beat us and are on fire!! We have our tickets already. We have two tix. One is the first round and one is the divisional championship. If the Bengals don't make the finals, we get a refund but we are guaranteed one game. If we had beat the Bills and the Chargers would lose one, we would have had a bye until Jan 14-15. Now we play Jan. 7 or 8.

JoAnn is at soccer?? :confused3 :confused3

Debi Did you get my voicemail? Mark and his brother were "bonding" at their local hometown pub. I was the DD. Mark asked me if I thought you and Micco were at the last Monday Night ABC game, so we just decided to call. Mark slept all the way home today (about 6 hours on and off!!). Rough night. He only sees his brother 2-3 times a year, so he had a good time! ;)

Bob and Lucy return this weekend I think? :sunny: Are Lynn and Keith heading straight back across "the pond" after their cruise? :confused3

Kathy I think VA would be fun. I haven't been there in a few years (I was pregnant with John who is 12). Someone throw out some dates and we'll see. How far is NYC? John and I are determined to go to a Yankees game this summer! :cheer2:

Sorry to leave everyone hanging........... :sunny: YES, we were in Fort Lauderdale for a college showcase soccer tournament for my sophomore (Jessica.) The team didn't do so well but we were at the beach a few times and also....... South Beach! We had a blast. Tara (my oldest) is considering Miami Ad school for next year so we took a trip down and toured the program. All I can say is.........if she goes, I guess we'll have to visit a lot :Pinkbounc !

Anyway, we left today with 80 sunny weathe :goodvibes r.............those people live in such a beautiful climate..........however................THERE WAS EVIDENCE EVERYWHERE of the hurricane damage to that area :confused3 . I couldn't believe how much was still apparent so many months later (highway signs were down, our hotel had several floors still being prepared!) It was amazing!

Jenny, I'm so sorry to hear of your calamity, I hope you're healed by next week! Also, I hope Christmas went well despite your accident! GL to the Bengals............all this talk is making me want to buy season tix for the Eagles!

Thx Lynn & Keith for your live update........... :cloud9: I really am happy for you!! Happy New Year and WRITE BACK SOON!

HNY, Kathy and family, your plans are making my head spin! You're going to be in WDW when we are arriving on April 9th! Debi might also be there then! Perhaps we could meet for dinner before you head to Vero?

Hi Dad! I hope we see you for New Year's! :grouphug:

Hey Lucy & Bob! I think you're leaving today............I know the weather got really good at the end of the week!! Happy New Year!! :rotfl:

Well, we're back to Winter here, we're stuck freezing for 3 months more :cold: !

:(

So much to write - I may take up a whole page on this board!
AND, WHO did Bob and Lucy talk about this whole trip - the DISers - how we would love to spend another week with them this coming year......
Happy New Year everyone.

OK, highlights:
1.) seeing Keith and Lynn again
2.) staying in our first DVC and LOVING it, and so thankful our friends talked
us into buying into it...now we are totally speaking about more points.
The BCVs were FABULOUS! We did visit 'our home' Saratoga, were NOT impressed, too big, too spread out. We are totally 'beach' people.
3.) meeting Jack, our driver, THE nicest guy we've ever met in Florida - thank you SO much Jenny - he really took care of us.
4.) "feeling" JoAnn in the same state, and not being able to be with her and her family - we were sad about that.
5.) OMG Kathy, we are looking at the same weekend in October.....just waiting to hear if the two events run over the Columbus Day holiday...noone in Disney could tell me - they said they would know around January 15.
6.) Saw John Stamos (Uncle Jessie on Full House) at the Candlelight Processional.....the dinner at LeCellier was FANTASTIC.
7.) Did I mention we loved our driver and, most of all, our Beach Club Villa.
8.) Why isn't Deb speaking to us?
9.) Jenny, when are you going to DW in July? would love to be down at the same time - we must book SOON. We are booked in June, but must cancel, Bob forgot he can't have vacation around Father's Day (prime time for him at work).
10.) What are the dates in April Debs and JoAnn will be there?
11.) I've gotta stop planning!
12.) Let's come up with a date in the summer, guys......

Hi Lucy,

It sounds like you had a great trip! I'm sorry you didn't like SSR. We actually stayed there and liked it very much. We stayed in the Congress Park section which was a quick walk to DTD.

If the two events you refer to that weekend in Oct are Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and Party for the Senses then I may be able to offer some help. MNSSHP will probably be offered on Thursday 5 October, Friday 6 October, Tuesday 10 October and Thursday 12 October based on 2005 dates. We will either attend on Thursday 12 October or Tuesday 10 October. Party for the Senses in Epcot will be held on Saturday 7 October. We will definitely be there. It is just amazing. We have a 2-bdr villa reservation at BCV 7-13 October. I had to rent the points needed for this reservation from someone with BCV points because it will most likely not be available at the 7-month window. BCV and BWV are very popular during F&W. In fact, I tried to rent points for a BWV-Standard view for those dates as it would have saved me 43 points but it was already all booked up. We will also try to reserved the Chef's Table at V&A on Monday 9 October at 180 days out.

Did I tell you all that we won the holiday lights competition again this year!

Hey Lucy! When did you come home............today??? Yes, we were there from the 26th until the 30th! The weather got better each day and our last day was too wonderful! :sunny:

We will be in WDW from April 9th - April 13th! I'm not sure if Debi booked yet. I think Jenny is going in March?! Kathy may be able to join us? :cool1:

Where is Debi????????? :flower:

Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

last night, late - Friday.
Today it is snowing and sleeting - hopefully noone can read my mind how I'm feeling about this weather in PA!!!!

We had a great timed flight - out of Philly - US Air - left at 7:00 AM last Friday, had the whole day in Florida - not our luggage, though. ONCE AGAIN, it was misplaced - had to be delivered in the afternoon, luckily the same day we arrived. Yesterday, we left Florida at 7:25 in the evening, had another whole day. It worked out really well for us. Oh, and for the first time, our luggage was on the same flight we were on....amazing.

Yes, the day we left Disney, was the first day I took off my sweatshirt....
i couldn't believe how cold I was - I'm used to sweating in the summertime.

Debs, you ok? Everytime I saw Mickey - I told Bob, that could be Alex!

Oh, and we could sit on our balcony and watch Illuminations...did I mention I'm in love with the Beach Club.
The Magic Kingdom closed several times, due to crowds - we tried to stay away from there. The last night of our trip we did see the fireworks in Magic Kingdom - grabbed a table in Tomorrowland, Tink flew right over us, the fireworks were amazing.

I am so sorry guys, I am very bad. I have not even had a chance to read this board in like 2 weeks. So much going on. Had to do the last minute Christmas rush and then last week we had 3 wakes to go to all within 3 days, not a very pleasant week. Tonight we are having a few people over, nothing big, last minute.

Jenny - I got your voice mail the next day. Micco and Alex actually went to the game, I had my sister and nieces and their kids over that day celebrating Christmas.

Bob - I am talking to you, just been so busy...sorry...forgive me? Sounds like you guys had a great time in Disney. I am looking forward to going down there this spring and maybe the end of Feb.

I can't believe that in one week I will be driving (ugh) down to Disney and leaving Alex for 4 months. :confused3 Well found out some good news, if we book a cruise while she is a CM, then we get a discount. Bring on the Med in '07.

I just want to wish you all a very happy, healthy and prosperous New Year. I am looking forward to seeing you all next year.... :grouphug:

Debi

We've tweaked our plans for April again due to the high cost of airfare. I've now bought the tickets so here is the set plan. We'll fly into MCO on Thursday 6 April. We'll visit my uncle and aunt in Englewood 6-9 April and then head to Vero 9-14 April. We'll fly home from MCO in Friday 14 April. Does anybody want to get away from the crowds in WDW for a day and come out to visit us at the Disney Resort at Vero Beach?

Happy New Year to all!

Welcome home, Lucy. We had a terrible return flight last night. It was delayed twice and we had to sit on the runway for about an hour due to some paperwork problem. We flew Airtran due to group event. :pug:

Hey Kathy, I don't think we can go down to Vero on the 9th b/c that is the day we are arriving. We're only in WDW for 4 days so I don't that this trip is a good one for any day trips. Bummer! :guilty:

Welcome back, Debi! Now you know why I was so depressed in August! How exciting for Alex, though. Have you ever driven to WDW before? If you read my earlier post, Tara may go to school in Miami in October. I was thinking that we may have to do a drive down if we give her a car to use (but we probably won't do that so I guess not!) Still all the stuff we would have to pack, I'm not sure how we would get it all down. :confused3

I hope everyone had a great holiday..............way too short this year! I wonder how the cruise is going?

best thing that happened to Bob and me this year (yes, Lucy is writing) is meeting all of you, you ALL have become so special to us. We check this board daily (OH, except when we are away :rotfl: :rotfl: ) to see what is happening in your lives. Even though we can't see you, we know you are there, because of this special board.

I want to hear from Lynn and want to hear how she had a better time in August, than December - NO, LYNN, just kidding, I know wherever you and Keith go, you have a great time. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
I would LOVE to hear a report of your trip and I also want to hear your
plans for this new year...hope we can see you both again. Did your group just LOVE Keith's frog shirt, as this group did :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Bob is working today, I'm doing nothing (oh, sorry Bob, I know you read this from work...I'll work very hard today, dear) :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Dinner will include sauerkraut today (Pennsylvania Dutch tradition).
I feel so sorry for everyone that must return to school on Monday, Tyler's first day back - Bob and I both have off for the New Year, tomorrow. Looks like we'll be taking down Christmas decorations....we always have some kind of Disney tree, next year Bob bought a few ornaments so he can have a Wilderness Lodge tree, he loves to decorate and I'm glad.

We missed the ball drop last night, FIRST TIME ever! Had our neighbors over and we watched a movie and we were doing a puzzle, when all of sudden we remembered it was midnight, and it was over....maybe that will bring us luck this year

OK, I'm done chatting. HAPPY NEW YEAR MY FRIENDS.

Just got home happy new year everyone I'll come back and write more in the next couple of daysLove Lynn and Keith

Wow that was fast Lynn! Welcome home! My goal for the new year is...........drumroll please.................I'm going to try to lose some weight! (Surprised?) I love the picture that Lucy sent everyone but, whew, I'm enormous!

Ok, what's your resolution/ goal for 2006??? My other one is to go to Florida as many times as I can! :goodvibes Also, to try to get together with everyone again this year (like in April!) (or the summer - VA?) :teeth:

Happy New Year friends!! :grouphug:

Well, our game in Kansas City stunk, but we did play all our 2nd string players, so it was to be expected. Anyway, we had an excellent time.

Spent NYE with Bengal fans in the hotel lounge and had a blast. Many of the media members were there and it is fun to talk with them. Since we were in the Central time zone, we celebrated with the NYC version, then repeated 1 hour later!! :rotfl2: :rotfl: Mark wanted to go to bed before the 2nd NY celebration, but we shamed him into staying. When he went to bed and the bar closed we moved on to the casino!! I broke even. My girlfriend and her husband each came out $100 ahead. My bad luck, again!!! We got in at 4:30 and got up at 8:00 to head to the game. I sure slept good last night. We got home at midnight which means I had about 4 hours sleep in 48 hours before last night!! I feel great today despite it all!

My WDW trip is March 11-19 which is our spring break. Our summer trip is July 23-Aug. 4. I think VA sounds fun, however dates will be the issue.

Have a great new year!!! :cheer2:
