Congrats! I'm halfway thru conferences right now......wish me luck the next two days!

Everyone have fun preparing for Thxgiving.......(especially our UK friends........newflash........we may be going to Germany or England at the end of March.......pack those bags, Lucy!) .........

LOVE to go to Germany or England.....I've got my passport, what is holding me back? ...oh, yea, I don't have a thing to wear.....I do speak a little bit of German, but it would be the British language that I would have difficulty with

Everyone, have a wonderful Thanksgiving We will be going to my cousin's house, I only need to bring desserts and candied sweet potatoes. Desserts ...my favorite thing to make....have three of them planned.
We are TRYING to get my mother home for our Thanksgiving meal - first time since she is in the nursing home...she says she can't go, we say she WILL go!

What do our British friends do on Thanksgiving? Is it a holiday in England?

Tyler and I had a half day today (I worked Mon., Tues., and this morning) - hall monitor - had issues with kids today....they were a little too excited about vacation and caused some problems, plus, we can no longer allow visitors (graduates) in the high school and many came back today to visit and needed to be turned away....I was not their favorite person.

To the OLD GEEZER - best wishes.....the Williams family is praying for 'ya

SO, it is Thursday night, right? WELL, Bob and Lucy forgot it was Thursday evening and ALMOST missed Gray's Anatomy - he DID miss his favorite show Ugly Betty. You see, we got home around 2:30 from dinner - my mum was there, BOTH boys came for lunch/dinner (under much complaining by the older one) and that made her SO HAPPY. I bought the new DVD Hairpspray - we turned it on, Lucy fell asleep. Around 6:00 we started watching the I Love Lucy marathon (10:15 and we are still watching the shows) and forgot all about our favorite shows.....well, I guess we must catch up on them on the computer again.

Our friends that were in Florida and on the cruise with us, The Becks, are in WDW - spoke with them today...said not all the decorations are up yet.
I can't wait to see the castle this Christmas.

Who is going shopping tomorrow - NOT ME!

SO, I made a FULL Thanksgiving dinner tonight (we went to my cousin's house on Thursday and had no leftovers)
The FULL meal: turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn, gravy (NO, not homemade, sorry), brussel sprout casserole, pumpkin pie, fruit salad....THE WHOLE NINE YARDS.

Bryan goes away, Tyler informs me he HATES turkey (I didn't know this!) and just ate the mashed potatoes with ketchup!

I have a problem in this house....I LOVE to cook and noone but Bob appreciates my cooking/baking.....it is SO SAD.....anyone want to come over tonight?

OK, I'm done complaining (for this hour)

So jealous about the WDW countdown, what a great idea! We're going in January but not to have fun/.......................

Since the girls will be in Europe this spring, we're not sure when we'll be back, but I AM SO READY FOR A WDW TRIP!, we'll see............maybe next summer for a w/e...............

Work day at the 'home' here today.....I'll check in tonight and let you know what we accomplished.....

A weekend together in WDW this summer is better than nothing....let's do it - remember, Jenny will be there from July 8-18....we haven't booked yet because we must wait for our 7month window...which would be January.

Just got home from the LONGGGGG weekend! One night in Cincinnati, then a night in New Philadelphia, OH (Mark's hometown), back to Cincinnati for three nights. Fun was had by all and no arguments at the MIL/FIL house!

M&M went ice skating at Fountain Square (downtown Cincy) twice. They opened a Greater's Ice Cream store right there. Just ask Lucy about Black Raspberry Chip!!! So, I had way too much ice cream. I have gained so much weight I cannot wear most of my clothes!! Today the Bengals won!!! So, it was pretty good in all!!

As for the Old Geezer..........WHAT'S UP??? I need some details!!! How's he doing?

Right now I feel for Bob.........retail hell!!!! I haven't shopped since Thanksgiving. YOu couldn't PAY me to shop right now!!!

July 8-18 are the magical dates.................bring on the party!! We ARE GOING to the dueling piano bar this time. Mark and I loved the one at NY, NY in Vegas.

Hey all, the Thxgiving w/e went too fast! Dad can't get on the Disboards, I'm not sure why. We met for dinner tonight with the other two DDs and he looked good......he had a little scare last week, but all is well so far.......

We are trying to visit Europe maybe twice this spring/summer due to the girls schedules.........also Mom and Dad are turning 50 on July 5th,...........WE'RE NOT HAVING A PARTY but if something is planned I'll let you know........... ............... ................I would love to go to WDW next summer but with the two trips and Jess' graduation, I'm not sure if we could do it................we'll see............... .............miss you guys..


So, who's been shopping? I am totally out of money, exhausted but we did have fun this weekend!! Anyone watch the NE/Eagles game? Crazy? It was still good, even if we didn't win..............

Hey ,we're back... seems we didn't have enough ^%&^&^ so the program wouldn't let us in
I have no idea what the h.... was wrong....
well ,the old "Geaser" was showing blood in the stool ( I presented that as delicately as I could) Soooo ....rather than rush to the hospital at 1:AM and sit around till someone shows at 6:00 AM,I waited till 6:AM at home and experienced more of the same symptons ...at which time I advised Alice we were going to the hospital (this happened on WEd. Morning)
They advised me that it was better to be admitted so I could be preped on thur for the proceedure to be done on friday,so all day on thur I drank that terrible lax concoction,literly S$%# out my brains,watched football,ate broth ,jello,apple juice (Happy Thanksgiving) ......Friday, the Doctor did the proceedure,took some pictures,and mostly presented me with a positive conclusion...I never felt or saw anything,no discomfort at any time ....Amazing
And interesting note..... Having had experienced rectal exam's in the past (Military,etc) it usually had been done by a short Latin ,usually about 4' 5" tall..... Welllll.... not this time , twice ,the Doctor that did the exam had to be the biggest SOB I ever saw in a green gown He had to be 6' 10''...... I'll let you figure out where I'm headed I can still taste his finger

Not much going on. It's been quiet since John chose not to play basketball. I am kind of enjoying it myself! He still lifts weights daily, but that's an easy pick up on the way home!

I probably need to get my Christmas gifts organized, but not in the "spirit" yet. Not sure why??

Glad to hear that Bill is doing well. I could comment on the "exam", but I won't......might offend someone. The "comments" are swelling in my head though!!! So how is the lovely Mrs. doing?

I thought Lucy was going to be visiting more now that the musical is over..
