Well, after the wedding I dropped Mark off at the airport in Dayton, OH (Sunday p.m.). In fact we had to leave the Bengals/Jets game early to get him there. I had conferences scheduled on Tuesday, but I only had two scheduled on Wed. because everyone kept switching times. So, I called my two families and asked them to switch times (I was very honest with them as to why). I conferenced 19 families on Tuesday (13 hour day). I booked my flight at 3 p.m. Tuesday and left town at 6 a.m. on Wed. (we have/had Fall break Thurs. at noon through Tuesday next week). Mark called me at 11 a.m. Wed to see how I was and asked, jokingly, when I was coming to Vegas. When I told in in four hours he commented, "Like, right!" Then he heard the loud speaker in the background (I was in Charlotte, NC at that point!) calling us to board and he about freaked out!!!:rotfl2: He got the biggest kick out of the fact I had to have him meet me at the taxi stand at the hotel because the bank machine was down and I went to Vegas with only $15 in my purse!:scared1: He had a good night at Blackjack Wed., so we went back to see BArry Manilow last night. The show was very different from the one we saw in February. Still a fantastic show!:woohoo:

Now, I am back home:laundy: I brought home all the laundry. I was nervous, fearing my suitcase would be overweight. But I checked in at 48 pounds!!!:rolleyes1 Mallory is running a fever and has a sore throat...hopefully not strept. We are going to Cincinnati tomorrow to celebrate Mark's birthday which is Sunday.

Life is good!

Has Jess made the big decision?? I am anxious to hear!:cutie:
Wow, that sounds great, our conferences are in a few weeks! Where did you stay?? Interesting about the BM concert! Hope Mallory is feeling better! The Eagles finally won!!:cheer2:

Jess update..............she did an "official overnight" visit this weekend. Ken & I are drooling, we met with the coaches again yesterday.........this is a GREAT opportunity for her............keep your fingers crossed, she may be coming around!!!:yay: :yay: :yay:

I saw something on the news the other day where they showed Brits a football and like they had no clue what the ball was or used for!!!

did you find that funny?! (what a football is used for....like I know?!!!):rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Well, unfortunately the rain has stopped and we must now chaperone a float for our show choir in a Halloween parade...tonight. As usual, I will freeze! and the show choir kids will all get sick and be useless at musical practice:mad:  :furious: :furious: :furious:

Lynn and Keith - I'm so happy for YOU...have fun:yay:

Happy Birthday Markie:rockband: party: :bday: :cake: :drinking1
ditto!:woohoo:

Lynn ~ I want to hear all about your FB trip!!!!:surfweb:

JoAnn ~ Details please on Jess' offers, decisions, etc.!!!!

Bill ~ Your post on the NFL board about the kicker in 1955 got Mark and I a good laugh...............you crack me up!!!:lmao:

Lucy ~ How was the big Halloween parade?:rolleyes1

Where is Debi?????????

We are on Fall break today, it is a big time :laundy: day. Remember my husband has been gone 10 days. I have only been home four of those nights! :scared1:

Mallory broke out in a rash last night; apparently allergic to the antibiotics!

As you all have seen and heard...:confused3 I am constantly shooting my mouth off, mostly in the FF world...:woohoo: For me ,that's what it's all about...:rolleyes1. Winning is great, but having a good laugh is the best win one can have... Your boy John handled it well, Tara's Jerramy appears to have fun with it all also....so I'm just treading water waiting for the next player to come along....:confused3

apparantly you people are to young to remember Charles Furgundas also...:rotfl: :rolleyes1 :cool1: who luv's ya...??

Still here, no news is no news.............:confused3

the only news I have is we are ALL exhausted.:faint: :faint: :faint:
It has been musical rehearsals every single night - I'm starting to stay at rehearsals to monitor the middle schoolers. Those DARN middle school girls, don't respect me when I tell them to get quiet...I had to get a dad last night to 'take care of them' - honestly, I was furious last night:furious: :furious: :furious: :furious: They just look at me like, "who the heck is she"?:furious: :furious:
You don't often hear me brag, but Tyler is doing an awesome job - I FINALLY heard him sing....WOW...the talent did NOT come from his mother:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 He plays a nerd in the musical - THAT talent came from me:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: go ahead Bill - I'm ready for 'ya with that comment:rotfl2: :rotfl:

My little baby was quite a handful today too. Was cranky, unless you were putting food in her mouth...does she get that from ME too?:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :woohoo:

Only show I watch at night is coming on tonight - Gray's Anatomy - gotta get me jammies on warm up my seat on the sofa (and chase Tyler to bed):cheer2:

Break a leg, Ty Ty...............:goodvibes

I don't think I told you guys this.........it the midst of the "college wars".....Jess's high school varsity team is playing for the district title tomorrow.........they were seeded second and the other team was seeded first..............we're playing at Central Bucks West tomorrow night!!

BTW, tonight she said, "Do you just want me to go to Drexel?"...........we both said, "Yeah!"..........she said "OKAY!"..........we just hope she meant it...:confused3  :confused3 :hippie: :surfweb:

Next week the little monster is playing for "states".......we have no idea what that means......if she makes the final, we think she'll be playing in Allentown.........Hellllllllloooooooooo Lucy & Bob:banana: !!!!

No news here, literally. We are waiting on a "call" from an interview. It's not looking too awfully promising. more later........

GL to Ty-man on his big show! And to the "boss" Bob as well!!!:wizard: I'd love to hear Tyler sing sometime!

GL to Jess as she makes a big decision. Make sure you make the best decision (and what your parents want...just kidding!)

Where are Deb & Lynn????:confused3

GL Fishers..........:thumbsup2 .....yes we are THOSE parents............:confused3 ;) ...................GL Bob & show............:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

like Jennster stated - don't get too excited till you have her signature on that dotted line for Drexel....I hope she does choose that school....she would be SO close, like Tray Tray! but don't tell her Lucy said that or she will change her mind:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

You are coming to Allentown, maybe.....I'll be there....IF the temperatures are above 75, that is!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I was really cranky tonight....made my FIRST "flop" of a cheesecake....it was awful...glad I was home alone.....I've never failed before in my baking (that I can remember:rotfl2: )....it is NOW in the garbage disposal. :sad1:

Tyler is at our last football game of the season, our high school has successfully lost every, single game. Then he is going to sleep over at a friend's house, tomorrow night he has another birthday party to attend...this kid has a much better social life than I EVER did:rolleyes1 I still don't have a social life:sad2: :sad2: We have a free day tomorrow, and I want Bob to rest...then Sunday he must work (his day off)....the Christmas retail season and special sales have BEGUN!:furious:

Have a great weekend EVERYONE.

Where ARE Lynn and Debs?:confused3  :grouphug:

Where is everyone??

I want to hear about......

Bob and Ty's show:dance3:

Lucy's retirement days:lmao:

Jess' decision:rolleyes1

JoAnn's class:teacher:

Lynn's American Football experience:cheer2:

How Debs and family are doing:)

Our latest is that John didn't go out for basketball this year. I am not disappointed at all (I can't say that for X though!!). He had a bad year last year and says his "heart isn't in it". My belief is that if it isn't fun, then it's not worth the aggravation. Personally I am relieved!

Mark is still waiting on the phone to ring. The longer it doesn't the chances are the call won't come.................. Oh, well!!

Word to the wise..........go to NYC BUT DON'T RUN THE MARATHON! Long story short......Ken finished......what a day! He had alittle knee trouble along the way but he did finish in about 4.5 hours...it was very exciting but alittle stressful meeting up with him and getting back to the hotel. We got back around 5pm and he finished running around 3pm, so it was really tough (a lot of extra walking for him) Needless to say, I WAS EXHAUSTED!:scared: The worst was trying to get a cab after the race!

So, Jenny, did we get the call?

Sorry about the cheesecake, Lucy!

Jess has to win 3 games in a row in order for her to make the finals in Allentown, if she does, you have to go LuLu, weather or not!!!:cheer2:

We're heading home to today and keeping our feet up (I know, I know, I didn't run the race, but trying to see him I crossed back and forth across Manhattan 3 times and I literally hiked for three hours straight!) It was like WDW WITH NO RIDES~~

Go Ken! I did look for you but the BBC were slightly distracted by a lady runner!!!!!
She was good wasn't she:banana:

Wow, Lynn you are GOOD! He was doing well until about mile 16 and then his knee started to flare up............he ran/walked the last few.........I was a nervous wreck b/c he didn't get back when I thought he would and there was no way to check on him until he finished!!!:scared1:

GL, Jenster~:rolleyes1
