What dates at Easter we have a long weekend, easter weekend and then 2 weeks off in April, Sat 5th - Sun 20th April, does that fir with any of your dates

We are going to Germany from Sat. March 15th to Thurs March 20th....I tried to get long stopover in London but I was able to get direct flights from NYC to Hamburg so I had to take them..........then we may go to Italy in late June.....do you guys want to make a quick trip to Germany in March? If not, I'll see what kind of flight I can get in June..........Tara may still be in London for her second quarter.....as everything develops, I'll let you know!!!

Debi and Jenny I managed to get pins for you even though they were selling like hotcakes so I've posted them this week hope you get them ok.

How sweet of you to do that! How much $$ do I owe for the pin and postage? I am going to give it to John since he has a lot of pins outside of a few Disney ones. So sorry to hear about your bunnies. I sounds as if the "new kids" are really a joy!! Hawaii?? That IS a dream of mine. Actually that was where we were going to go for our 10th anniversary until we decided to do the California Cruise with all of you!!

I have a student going on DCL tomorrow....I am so jealous!! I gave her mother the Passporter book a month ago to help her plan.

I am getting excited about our trip to Scottsdale and Vegas. I just wish the next couple of weeks of school were over!!

My semester ends on Dec. 20th! I will be half way through the school year!

Thx for the tip, I totally watched it! We haven't been down for the holidays in a few years, we used to go when the girls were young and we could travel off season............I'm dying to go to WDW, we have a short trip when we are in the HM in January.........so maybe in 2009 before our Tortola trip we'll be able to do some extended, relaxing WDW before or after the cruise.....

It wasn't on here and my kids were not happy. I had them all pumped up! We got some dude who was eating strange foods in Asia, including drinks with lizards in them and dishes with a whole frog in it!! EEEEWWW!!!

I used to go to WDW every Christmas when I was young. I was there the first Christmas in 1971.......us and 60,000 others!!!

it was good....last number was the Hallelujah Chorus - music director invited audience to join in (NO, don't worry - I DID NOT SING!) - it gave me goosebumps.....

Nasty weather predicted here tomorrow - starting around 10:00 AM - wondering if the kids will even go to school - should be ice and snow...they will probably have an early dismissal. ME? I'm going nowhere!
Then another storm may hit us Saturday night - let ALL this storm stuff get 'out of the way' until Christmas Eve Day - I want NO delays heading to WDW!

Nope we are on Eastern Time year round now. I need to find it now because the kids were NOT happy!

Mallory has her music program tomorrow night.

Marshall has been asked to perform his piano piece that he wrote ("Sant Claus Processional") at the all school sing we have the last day before vacation. He is quite excited!

Hey guys, loved hearing about your holiday concerts!!!!!!!! Heard from the 'old geezer' and he had a nice report from his doctor.......health scare is officially over! He can't get on to tell you himself, he's having computer problems.......

Yes, loved hearing from Lynn (and about her Hawaii cruise), still have that on the list but really looking forward to going back to the Caribbean too.......just one and half years to go!!!

well, we were 'hit' with lots of ice today...couldn't believe the kids had to actually go to school today because it was sleeting already at 7:30 this morning. Our elementary kids don't start school till 9:00 and it was already dangerous at that time. Senior high dismissed at 12:30. Tyler had two friends over to play video games all afternoon - i baked for them, they were so appreciative....i told them to come anytime....at least someone appreciates my baking.
The four of us actually sat down to a dinner tonight at the dinner table - never, EVER happens in this house - we had steak - bob cooked on the grill, in the ice...whatta guy!

Another storm predicted on Saturday night.....you would think it was winter!

Went shopping after work for the kids' Christmas gifts (finished up). 2 1/2 hours in Wal-mart.....then to Buffett's. Needed a margarita after all that!!

Predicted 5"-9" starting at 7 a.m. tomorrow!! EEEEKKKK!!!

our storm has been downgraded to just an advisory.......
went shopping tonight
yep, we are DONE - but this year there wasn't alot to buy
tomorrow is the family Christmas
nothing wrapped
nothing cooked yet - about to do that now, at 8:15 PM!
(and my bedtime is 9:00!) - must make a red velvet cake and an overnight
lasagne....

we only got a ground covering, then some sleet. At one point last night they were saying up to 9"!!

Mark did some more shopping for me today. I didn't leave the house and don't plan on doing it tomorrow. I "tinkered" a lot today. Cleaned some closets (kids' toys). They started picking out toys to sell this summer. We always do this right before Christmas. I always tell them that Santa likes to see them make room for new things!

Tomorrow I need to get the suitcases unloaded from last weekend and prepare for the trip to "Grandma and Grandpa's". I also need to find Marshall some jeans in John's old stuff. Marshall has gained 10 pounds since June and the jeans I bought him in August that were way too long are now too short!!

The kids have school Monday-Thursday. I have semester reports to do on Friday, then I am off until January 7th!!!

Lucy ~ I want to come for dinner tomorrow!!!

I hope Ken and JoAnn get home safe and sound. I cannot remember when they return??? tomorrow??

I hope Debi checks back in soon and that the Jets beat the Patriots tomorrow!

I'm definitely not done in the shopping department. We did make it down, it was only an hour delay! We went to "Lincoln Road" on Friday night and stayed up to 3am!!! Yesterday, we were "at the pool" and the we went to a place called "Devitos" owned by Danny Devito...boy, did we see the rich, older crowd at SB, I was staring all around the restaurant!! Then Tara made us go to a beach bonfire which was a bit windy....finally we went to a Tequila bar for margaritas.....yea baby.......today it's alittle cloudy so we're not sure what to do.....

Jess and I come home tomorrow, TrayTray and Ken is coming home on Wednesday with Tara..........
