Hey! July 30th, 2005 cruise to Mexico DISfriends!

while mr. bob coughs....HE had a relaxing weekend and I'm NOT happy.

Bob and I DID watch an hour of my soap opera this afternoon.
tonight? I'm going to visit mother for a little bit (first time out of the house today) and the boys, well, of course, they'll just continue to relax:mad: :furious: and do what boys do best!

It is SO cold here too, and will be for days....I can't even remember summertime anymore. Don't know why I'm complaining because we've had a great winter, but this weather bites the nose right now:cold: :cold: :cold:
Hey guys, guess what I did today! I put together my pictures from the summer! ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo That brought back such sweet and 'cuddly' memories. NO, they are not in a scrapbook, Lucy, organized? NOT!

OH, I didn't tell you this weekend...the news...and Debs, I have my reason....Bob and I booked the westbound Canal cruise, the price was magnificent:scared1: BUT, if we'll go, we'll see. NOPE, the boys wouldn't come. See, Tyler would still be in school, the end of his 10th grade, Bryan, well, who the heck knows:confused3 , but the EASTBOUND just wouldn't work because Tyler would miss the first week of school, and IF I'm still at the university, I couldn't miss that weeek either. The price was SO right, but I have the guilts for going 15 days on a cruise without them. We'll see.:confused3

Oh Lucy I am sick and so sad:sad2: you won't be traveling with us, but there is no way we could do westbound. But we are really excited to do that trip, even Briana is starting to loosen up about it a little. I just joined the thread for that cruise, it is already over 700 pages, that's right 700 pages.

Jenny That stinks about Elton John. One of these days I will see him in Vegas, i will try to plan a trip around it (thinking of going next year for Alex's 21st birthday - anyone interested - ladies only). But if you could do that with the tickets, go for it. Oh, and I think you will be seeing BLUE around town for a while now.

We went to a great SB party last night, I am totally wiped today, just tired, not hungover. On the other hand, Captain Nemo is in bed with a little bit of a hangover...

Well, now I have to go and try to read some of those 700+ pages on the other thread:rotfl2: :rotfl2: The people are very friendly, one of the guys on the Med cruise AndrewDerekUK is also on that cruise. There are some SI people too.

Have a great day all and try to stay warm. I am sure Tara is the only one doing that today!

Debi

:cool1: Debs is back:cool1:

OK, let's see - Tyler also had a two-hour delay, wondering if there will be one tomorrow also? :cold: :cold: :cold: AND, if you are wondering, NO, he did NOT wear a coat again today to school:scared1: :furious:

DEBS, I'm so sorry we can't travel with you guys, but the timing stinks.
The thread for our cruise is also 172 pages, I cannot keep up with it....may
be a lonely cruise, if we go, apparently these people have traveled together before.:sad1: :grouphug: BUT, also next year (2008) I would LOVE to travel with JoAnn to London, and also, and this is whether we go on the Canal or NOT we will meet up with 'the group' in WDW in the summer (2008) at the BWV :grouphug:
PLUS, this summer it is NJ and NYC...I love having such GREAT friends.

Does anyone want to meet in King of Prussia anytime for lunch/dinner at the Cheesecake Factory?:confused3

The number for All Seasons is (800) 771-8690. I spoke with Mike, he was extremely helpful. Call him and tell him you know us and see what he can do for you. They have a pretty good in with DCL, Kathy set us up with them last year, they use them all the time. LMK how you make out.
Debi

Hey all...........HOW COME EVERYONE HAD A TWO HOUR DELAY BUT US!!!!!

We had the joy of NO HEAT IN MOST OF OUR BUILDING TODAY! My class had heat but something broke over the w/e and it took all day for it to work properly!:scared:

I finally know who R. Grossman is..........I guess you were actually for the Bears, Jen?? :rolleyes1 In any case, WHAT A GREAT SUPER BOWL, I thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the first half!! Also, the ads were fun! I thought the QB for the Colts was fantastic!!:yay:

Haven't heard from Tara yet...........I'm sure she saw some things too!!:dance3:

Traceeeeeeeee, I will definitely talk about you........don't get too comfortable!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Yes, Lucee, we MUST do NJ shore this summer, London next summer and keep the BWV on deck, that will be Jess's year to graduate so we would probably have to travel early that summer (late June?):woohoo:

Where's Mum??:flower3: How's the weather in GB this week???

Yes, Peyton Manning is funny, but we are so SATURATED here with his commericals. He is great in them, but over and over and over?????

I was so disappointed in our paper today. THey were not really "nice" about Grossman. I think that's crappy! They were proud and claimed him when he was Mr. Football in the state of Indiana and the starting QB at Florida, but now....... His father has done so much for the community and that's the kind of treatment they get. I'd never put another $$ into this town if they treated my kid like that. I know everyone here like the Colts, but you take care of your own and he deserved more credit for his positives than all the negative headlines about him. Cheer for your team, but don't bash or make jest at the other team. Too bad.....The Colts were definitely the best team and the Bears were good, but not like Indy. Today all the Indy schools were closed for this terrible cold, but they were standing deep in the streets tonight when the Colts came home for their victory parade. They are in the RCA Dome as I write having their celebration.

Tomorrow..........already know we have a TWO HOUR DELAY!!!!

It was -8 when I got this morning......................:surfweb: NOw, 4-6 are predicted for tomorrow starting at noon......Get me out of here!!!!

what do you mean, 4-6, temperature? or snow?
this cold really bites! It is down-right painful:cold: :cold: :cold: :cold:
I'm wondering if Tyler will have a 2-hr. delay again tomorrow.
Tomorrow night he has county chorus tryouts....we are NOT chaperoning, thank goodness. I don't have too much faith in him making it this year, the boy just doesn't practice...oh, well, what else is new:confused3 :confused3

OK, next year, what time of year are 'we' doing London? Why late June for BWV? Oh, well, just tell me where to be when, ok?:yay:
Right now all I want to remember is how hot it will be in Florida because I love that alot more than I like this cold weather.:furious:

Bob is still:sick:

Can we NOW say: football is officially OVER:banana: :cool1: :dance3: :yay:

Extremely low temperatures and chance of 4"-6" of snow!!!!!:cold: :cold: :cold: :cold: :cold: :cold:

My mom must have the same thing as Bob. She has been in her house for 5 straight days and gone nowhere. That is NOT HER!! She is extremely stopped up and coughs CONSTANTLY....She actually called me today to go and get her some medicine which is unusual. She's suppose to work tomorrow, but I told her given her illness and the snow prediction, she had BETTER NOT leave the house or I will be on her a#$!! I'll call my sister and she'll give her heck too!!! She actually listens to Chris much better!:rolleyes1

two hour delay for Tyler today:sad2: :sad2: he was NOT a happy boy:sad1: :sad1: Most of the schools DID have a delay, due to cold temps.

Jennster: CALL YOUR SISTER - don't let your mum go out today, this virus is a killer and lasts a long time:sick:  :headache:

This has definitely been our strangest winter - never had more than one inch of snow this season.....and none predicted for the next 15 days (I've checked EVERY weather site). Looks like the kids will be getting out of school on time this year, they only have one more snow day built in (President's Day), then they start taking days from the end.....:beach:

Joannski: SO, I want to know about London next summer, IF we go to BWV in June, when do we go to London......? :yay: :cheer2: With the price of the westbound cruise, we MAY still do that cruise, you couldn't beat the first day's prices, for 2 of us, inside cabin. :boat:

DEBster: Did Bri miss any days for snow this year?:confused3

those -6,etc temps..... whew that temp really hurts ,and of course the 20/30 mph wind....:scared1: well, if your getting snow it should be warming up.....:rolleyes1
OKokOK,no more football....bummer....:confused3
Bobbo ...give it up pal....:sad2: move on.....
Traceyski... what's with your spelling....:confused3 If I didn't know better I would think you went to a Catholic grade school...:scared1: and the puctuallityski ...Ma thon...!! (it's a little family joke)...
Well, the only thing worth talking about would be Baseball... :yay: Hey Jennyski, are you any good with the bat...? :cheer2: How 'bout the glove..?/
I can see you as a first baseperson...how 'bout it kid, still got it...:rolleyes1
any other ball players out there..... foreget the :laundy: ,:hourglass ,:teacher:

Does anyone understand what he just said???:rotfl2:

WE HAVE NOT HAD ONE DELAY OR DAY OFF YET!!! I can't believe the delays due to the cold, we certainly should have had one yesterday around here!!:confused3

I didn't think Grossman was bad, I think the rain affected his game, etc......:sad2:

Sorry, Bob, get well soon!!

Vacations, vacations.......you're right, if we go to London, in late June, I'd have to push back the potential DCL/BWV deal.............I guess we have to see what college she is going to and then see what their schedule is.......the only issue is locking in the rate on the DCL early, let me think!!!:scared:

Well, I'm off to work out...............:cool1:

Shortstop most of my life, but best at 3rd (don't need to think too much, just react!!) As far as a bat, not a home run hitter, but you better protect that third base bag, or better yet, your throat!!!:lmao:

Pitchers and catchers report in nine days!!!:yay:

Got to work at 10 and sent home at 2:30...my kind of day. Temperatures below zero (wind chill) in the am, then the snow came around 10:30. THe kids are outside sledding now. John has his snowboard out as well. Our yard is extremely hilly, so they are in sledding paradise! I am in a warm house. That's my paradise!

I AM SO EXCITED, THE BRITISH ARE COMING, THE BRITISH ARE COMING Micco actually just called me to tell me, cause he's excited too. Just make sure Keith brings the frog shirt. And check out the thread for this cruise, well over 800 pages, I just can't keep up with it. Lucy you sure you can't go east instead of west, looking more tempting.....NO?????

And Lynn So glad you are going to that football game, you and Keith will have a blast!

Debi

Oh DEBI!!! I am on the phone right now! I got my Manilow tickets switched and am trying to book EJ right now!!!

Congrats to all the Canal travelers!!! :thumbsup2

No snow around here again!!!:confused3 It's certainly cold enough!!!

Two hour delay #3!!!! I can get used to this 10-3:30 schedule!:cool1: WE got a bunch of snow (around 5-6") and the kids had a blast playing in it. This is the first year that they all three could tolerate the cold and I had to pull them inside because it was getting dark!:yay:

I got the EJ tickets last night! :woohoo: Mark and I are not gamblers, so we decided what the heck! We will get some high quality entertainment. So, it's Manilow next Friday and EJ next Saturday! We are both so excited. He saw Manilow in Cleveland in the '80s and says he still remembers that being one of the best shows he has ever seen. I haven't seen either, so I am really really pumped!

Well, I am going to try to get all those wet clothes washed!:laundy: All those layers times three kids! THat's at least two loads!!!!:rolleyes1

Take your camera and get some pictures, it is a show I am DYING to see. If I take Alex out there next year for her bday, I will try to plan the trip around when he is there....Enjoy!
Debi

The website specifies NO CAMERAS!!!:sad2: I was really disappointed when I saw that. I don't remember seeing that on the Manilow site though.

But, I'll give you a concert report if you'll give us a 60th birthday concert report!:dance3:
