Hey guess what, we had a little "dusting" and still no delay today!!! The cold is brutal though.................

Paybacks............Looseee..........................:rotfl2: :thumbsup2 :woohoo:  :scared: :cool2: :rolleyes1

While Jenster is going to concerts.....Ken will be attempting his first marathon......think of him on Sunday..............:cool1: Lucy is also running this one!!!!:lmao:

sitting at work:surfweb: I was getting really sad for ME:sad1: , but very happy:dance3: for Jennster, that she is seeing one of my favorite oldies - Barry Manilow - I put on a CD of his, kept it low, NOONE in the office wants to hear Barry Manilow (or in my house), and just crooned with the music.:rolleyes1 I'm so jealous, and THEN, Elton John too! so happy:sad1: :sad1: :sad1: for you.

Tyler has a spot in the county chorus i:music: in April...can't believe that kid made it again, he MIGHT just have some of his father's talent (thank goodness:scared1: :scared1: )...NOW, all we need is ONE more piece of good news for the other kid this week, and I'll be celebrating on this board....maybe that news will come tomorrow.:genie: :stir: pixiedust: ::yes::

ah, the MARATHON:tiptoe: :tiptoe: , Joannnnster....remember my knees, that are NOT in good shape (YET!) - now, if the marathon would be in a few weeks, I would definitely be there:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Well, time for :laundy: and visiting 'the home' (NOT my favorite part of a day, but I'm a good daughter, as you all can imagine:rolleyes: )

:woohoo: :woohoo: WAY TO GO TYLER!!!:woohoo: :woohoo:

I got my fingers (and toes) crossed for Bryan!!!!:thumbsup2

Sorry Lucy.........there's always so much going on................GL to B and WTG to T!!! How about that!!!:dance3: Does this mean you're traveling again for T? I know you're going to WDW for him, is there another trip as well?? Hope Mom is well, too............be afraid, be very afraid!

Thx, Jenny, you remember when he was running around down in WDW last summer, well, I hope he makes it! I prefer the Half-Marathon with him, it doesn't seem so oppressive!!! Of course, we'll see Tara down there as well!!

So again, WE HAD A "DUSTING" this morning, another DUD!! I HATE COLD WEATHER!!:sad2:

So I guess no more visits from the "ladies," I guess I can talk about them some more!!!

CONGRATULATIONS TYLER :grouphug: Way to go! Keep us posted about Brian, Lucy

Oh and BTW, Lucy, I got your package in the mail, thank you so much. But are you trying to tell me that I am old:confused3

Debi

Lynn I believe we have late dining on the repo, it seems like the whole board has Main, I am thinking of switching ours to main, how do you feel about that? We have never done main seating, I have always felt a little rushed...let me know.
Debi

:sad2: Debs, I'm not telling you you are OLD!:sad2:
I'm telling you to wear them when you walk with ME in NYC....or bring 'them' along for my knees:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Another VERY cold day, windy, freezing. No more delays in the area, though.
Poor Bob, :flower3: , not ONLY is he still sick:sick: , he had to stay at the store last night until 11:30 because of pipe bursting, and the alarms going off, THEN, he got called back in at 2:30 this morning and had to stay at the store until 6:00 this morning until the first manager showed up (alarms did not work)....i hope he sleeps all day:love:

We REALLY need pixie dust for that good news today for Brypixiedust: pixiedust:

are the girls?:confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3
the young ones, I mean:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

well, noone gave me pixie dust today, and there wasn't any news for Bryan - HEY GANG - how about for tomorrow?:grouphug: pixiedust: pixiedust:

Debi
We have done both dining times, there are pros and cons for each we found.
Early means you get to sample more of the desert buffet cos you're not so full, Keith likes to eat early, on sea days the day seems more balanced and at christmas we didn't feel too rushed because it got dark around 6pm.

Late dining means you don't have to rush so much for shore excursions and in the high summer you're able to stay at the pool for longer and you're not having to get all dressed up while it's still really hot.

We would probably go for late dining for this cruise, but happy to do either if you wanted to swap, I agree it would be fun to be part of the big group.

Lucy, I hope he hears soon.

Well I've had a lovely couple of days...I've lost 14lbs....was awarded tickets for wimbledon ladies finals in the ballot........my school won an award for quality in basic skills......I got a cabin to go through the canal and it's our mid term break next week so Keith and I are headed to Rome for the weekend!

It snowed heavily here last night and today and many schools were closed but all my staff arrived promptly and we were able to open.

The snow has melted now but I think we're in for a little more
How's the weather with you all?

Are you kidding me??? Even Lynn is having snow!! Congrats, Lynn on your great week.........we're still worrying about Ken's dad who's having a lot of ups and downs................the girls are busy with school this week...........Survivor's on........see you later!!!:cool1:

so jojo looks like i'm not gone and you still can't talk about me :goodvibes :goodvibes i just got done watching grey's anatomy!! sooo amazing. lucy you better have watched it... can't wait till next week!!!:cheer2: incase anyone was wondering htere is a big day coming up soon. its not valentines day.. it's my birthday!!! the 15th.. lucy make sure my mom has been doing shopping i have been at school and i'm very worried.. then we'll ahve to get ready for your birthday, be patient!! get ready!!! :yay: :yay:
it's been a busy week way too much work.. so u'll have to excuse my absence.. its the college life.. more work to do.. joann keep it nice on here :wizard:

miss 'ya girl! Your mum's money is getting old - we need to meet:lmao: :lmao:

Miss Allie and Bri MORE, since they won't even talk to us:sad1:

well, i gave in and went to doctor for my knees - got a shot and pills - inflammed tendonitis (sp?) and inflammed arthritis......getting old is #%&#*%&#*(%&#(*%&(#*%& :furious:
So, Ken, it isn't looking good for the marathon.....
Doctor did asked if i was drinking before I fell:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1
told him, not until afterwards and the pain started....he questioned me about that!:drinking1

Watching Gray's Anatomy tonight at 8:00 - 9:00 on a Thursday is just too late for an old lady like me.

Bob works the weekend, keep in touch gang.:grouphug:

Grey's was so intense! I don't usually do complicated stuff, but it was too good to pass up. Now, NO ONE can say anything about it next week until I get home to watch it! I'll have to tape it. I couldn't believe when I saw the "to be continued"!!! EEK!!:scared1:

It's getting so exciting just to hear all of you talk about your upcoming cruises!! WOW!! I am going to live vicariously through all of you!

The ticket business is up and running already and I have sold a few sets!:woohoo: That'll keep me busy for a while! Pitchers and catcher report this week!!:yay: :yay:

Loose....glad you went to the doctor. Too funny about the doctor's question. They never ask me....maybe they know too much.

I about died today. I go to the doctor and put some heavy stuff on my reg. form to discuss with the doctor. Her new nurse comes out to get me to do her part and lo and behold, her new nurse is my boss' daughter!!!:scared1: Yes, that's the really BAD part of small towns!! My doc came in and told me that the girl was really worried that I didn't trust her ethics. It was probably the "deer in the headlights look I gave when she called my name??)I wanted to say I trust hers eithics, just not her mothers'!!! (MY BOSS') Gee I guess you now know how I feel about my boss!!!:rotfl2:

BRYAN FINALLY GOT A JOB!:cool1:  :woohoo: :woohoo:
We are ALL so happy, it was a good week afterall, and congrats to Lynn too on her GREAT week.
Bryan will be working at Lehigh Valley Hospital (listed in Fortune magazine as being the top 100 employers in the nation, I might add) - and the place I spent all of November and most of December at, visiting my 'mum', and the place I'VE always wanted to work at.....weird, isn't it?
He has to go to school for 6 weeks, then he will be a floater in the hospital as a nursing support partner, and eventually, if he wants, he can work his way up to working with patients, and so on. It was a LONG time coming, very long, but maybe, just maybe, he finally found himself, we are hoping and praying. Believe me, I'm NOT bragging (believe me), I'm just sharing our good news with our wonderful friends.:grouphug: Just hoping and praying this works out for him.
AND, Tyler making county chorus this week, and ME feeling so much older, and Bob still being sick, on a scale of 1-10, I would call this a SIX!

Wow, everyone should check their horoscopes this week.........most of us are having amazing weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:dance3:  :woohoo:  :cool1: :thumbsup2 :goodvibes WTG, Lucee & Bobbee..........having spoke on many occasions about the "joys" of raising the 19/20 age group (hello tray tray):rolleyes1 ....I can appreciate your joy, WHEN YOUR KID MAKES A "SMART" MOVE!!!!So happy for all, especially Brian!!! GL from all of us!!!

Yes, I am now watching Grey's as well, all I can say is...........good show, but what's with all the blood, yikes!!! :scared1:

What's your opinion on Anna Nicole, what an important news item!!:confused3

Jenny, we'll talk about our cruises ONLY IF you tell us about your spring training and baseball trips!!! (and make sure you go east coast this year!!):woohoo: popcorn::   :cool1: :thumbsup2 :goodvibes We still have to plan the MP part of the trip, during the week is probably a lot easier.............I REALLY WANT TO SEE THAT SHOW!!! BTW, is your "BOSS" a school employee?? I just wasn't sure about that part! Isn't it true that that kind of thing ALWAYS HAPPENS!!

Hey Tray, Jess took care of you, baby!! Hope the girls are good, Deb, WHERE ARE THEY???????????????????????????????????????And where is Tara, as well????:cool2:

Loocceeee, let's consider February 24th or 25th for KOP, I'm in a class this w/e (kill me now:sick: ) so I can't go until then............and of course we have the marathon next weekend!!!:cool1:

BTW, is your "BOSS" a school employee?? I just wasn't sure about that part! Isn't it true that that kind of thing ALWAYS HAPPENS!! :

It was my principal's daughter (my principal is a woman). I about croaked! I am glad I didn't put down my true feeling; my boss is a major part of my anxieties!!!

and of course we have the marathon next weekend!!!:cool1:

Ken's the man!!:woohoo: :woohoo: Marathon? I'd last MAYBE a mile!!!:lmao:

thanks for the thanks:grouphug:
we can finally say, we are proud of BOTH of them this week (oh, by the end of the weekend, me alone at home with them....I'll have other adjectives for them, trust me:furious: :furious: )

girls, check your e-mails.:woohoo:

that weekend is GREAT for us, except that morning/early afternoon we have a sandwich sale fundraiser but we SHOULD be finished by 1:00 in the afternoon....BTW, ANYONE wanna buy some sandwiches from Tyler....:rotfl: :lmao: ....it is another fundraiser for WDW...i've got italian sand., turkey sand., or ham.....you MUST pick them up yourself, but I know you guys would support Tyler for WDW:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
OH, how about EVERYONE meeting in King of Prussia and I'll bring them along:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: BOLUSI'S: since Allie knows her way (now) to King of Prussia, can you join us on Saturday or Sunday?

Gray's Anatomy? in case not everyone saw it, I was 'a little' disturbed by some of the sights and then the ending...I think I had nightmares about it.:sad1: Told Bob, when it is a 3-parter....I would be better off taping all 3 parts so i would know the endings right away.

Now heading for a haircut and color......i'll feel a little better in a few hours.:rolleyes1

It's A THREE PARTER?????:scared1: Mark came in toward the end asking if I was o.k. He knows that I cannot "handle" shows like that. THey really bother me. But, I made it. It was (and I assume will continue to be) pretty intense!
