Who said I wasn't gonna be there in Oct....??? 
....Johanny is beating me to death with this Oct thing...... Come on,let's get it on Babe.... 
....aaaaaalllllll day long on the beach,in the water, all during dinner,while I was painting the deck,changing the flat tire,Oct,Oct... 
So yes,looking forward to seeing you'all....
Is FF over...?? who won...?? is that all there is(Patty Page)...loved that music...!! I miss dancing... We just can't fit time in to go dancing....
So Jenny is in the thick of it, Chi town for the weekend,If you were closer ....I'd fix/run that @#$#@mower...
especially the@#$#@ riding mower 
I love mower's that don't run...you know grease under the nails....Stale gas,oil in your eye... 
The beach was good today,good crowd,water warm,bright sun
It really feels like Fall 
...it's really the best time of the year... 
Tomorrow we get to see the other Son's family(Jimmy)....a couple days with them should do it for the season

Great day yesterday. We did NOTHING! The boys swam while sweet little Mal watched from the sidelines! Mark went and got Mal and I some lunch to eat by the pool while the boys went to the mall food court for lunch , fun, and ice cream. We went down to the restaurant/bar to watch some TV. The boys played pool while Mal and I sat and hung out. (do we see the theme yet???). She is in "suck up" mode and it isn't working!!! 
I am not going to bend (and neither is her father if he knows what's good for him!!) 
Joaionisr I'll take all the advise I can get. She is basically doing nothing and getting the necessities. No treats, no fun, no nothing. All we supply her with the basic needs and LOVE... It's hard, but she is starting to get the picture (I hope!)
Off to work on school stuff.... THis is nightmare week with all the parent meetings, etc.

I'm here, I'm here...sorry guys, I just realized this morning that I haven't even read the thread in days, so sometimes I'm good, really good, and when I'm bad...well you know how the saying goes.
Anyway, Bri is in Wildwood for the week with her friend. We let her go not knowing if she passed everything, but the report card came yesterday....and she did pass EVERYTHING... maybe some by the skin of her teeth, but she passed, thank God. Now I have to keep reminding her that she needs to get through next year with NO summer school or she will not be going on our MED cruise (which yes we are going on) and it would really be great and encouraging throughout the year if she knew that her good friend Lucy was joining us on this cruise. 
Lucy - You need to get over this fear of yours about flying across the pond and just do it. Do you think any of us are real kean about this flight at all? GET OVER IT GIRLFRIEND!!!!!
Alex is doing good since she is home, taking it easy, sleeping late, and enjoying time with her friends.
Jenny - Oh the good times are yet to come, it's a good thing she is cute!
Of course we are still on for our October w/e, I told you, I am even taking that Saturday off. Alex will probably be working at Fright Fest Saturday, so she may not be able to join us, but I think Briana will probably join us.
Well enjoy the rest of your w/e, Micco may actually take me out on the jet skis today (sorry Bri). We'll see.

About little "M", I have found that when we lower the "boom" our kids usually are better so best wishes!!
I believe Lynn has one week on me, I still have alittle more than a week!
Have fun, Kathy, I'm sure you will have a blast!
Our parent nights come in the middle of September so we have plenty of time for that stuff, however, "Meet and Greet" is a week from Thursday!
The folks and I plan to come up early Saturday morning in Oct and hang with everyone and then stay over to see a show on a Sunday matinee if anyone is interested!

Well one day down and four to go!! I had to mow after work, so I am just getting to sit down. Tomorrow starts the Parent Night Marathon, but John comes home tonight and tells me that I have a football parent meeting tomorrow night too!! So, now I have that at 5:30 then run across the street to do my Parent Night presentation at 6:45!! At least Wed. and Thurs. I just have to show up!!!
Joaniens ~ enjoy your last days. It goes fast! I am in pretty good shape for tomorrow night, so we will just get our stuff finished up for the kids to leave their parents. I really don't enjoy getting up in front of parents and talking. I can do that all day with the kids, but not parents!
I "cleaned" out Mal's room last night. She was a little shell shocked. However, I think she's getting the message. Her little "boy friend" at school came into the classroom after school asking her to play. Marshall cheerfully offered that she couldn't because she is grounded.
Boy did she give him an earful!! When you play you pay!!! Hope all is well..................

OK this name game is really confusing me...notice it doesn't take much.
Anyway, I hate talking in front of people, that's why I don't teach too much at the store. I used to hate it when I had to do PTA and Executive Board meetings, used to get cramps in my stomach...ugh. But eventually I got used to it and got better at it. Jenny and JoAnn - I don't envy you when it comes to those conferences, but I am sure you are both good at it, you both have dynamic personalities.
Yesterday, I had to go to court for the store...the whole thing was very frustrating. Everybody who said they saw this kid light the fire or run away, is now disappearing. Turns out the police never read the kid his Miranda rights (although he was never really placed under arrest - very gray area). Also, my next door neighbors in the pizza place don't want to get involved (even though they told me when it first happened and told the newspaper that they saw the kid running from the building). Nice neighbors. I say, what goes around comes around. Very disappointing and it hurts to know that people won't do the right thing. Plus kids have been spray painting the area, and they have already got one of my gates and the wall next to the store, looks great...cops hang out there all the time, you think they can catch the kid doing this...NO. But on a lighter note, looks like I will be moving within the next two weeks...it is the only thing keeping me going these days, I just hate being at the store, I am so depressed about it...over 4 months and still my landlord has not fixed A THING!
Sorry guys, just venting.
Another beautiful day here in sunny SI, time to go to work.

Debi That is awful! Of course no one wants to testify. THey are afraid of the kids "friends". I say get out of there. The neighborhood isn't good, the neighbors aren't true "neighbors" and your landlord is obviously not someone I would want to do business with. You are too good for that place. There are too many "laws" today. Hey, if he did it, who cares of what his rights are. Do we need to remind people that they have the right to breathe before each breath???? vent anytime! That's what friends are for!!
JoAnn It's simple with Mallory.........spoiled and disrespectful. She is quickly learning what "necessities and privledges" are. She is pretty cooperative right now! She gets to do things this weekend at my mom's. If she passes the "test" her things will be returned. If not, we'll continue that, but she will then get to wear only plain colored clothes and shorts (or pants). None of that cutesie stuff!!!! She has to learn... Hopefully a little of this now will lessen it when she is older (I am smart enough to know that I cannot "stop it"!)

DisDaddy - No unfortunately we did not get out. Captain Nemo was feeling a bit under the weather. Maybe this w/e. Anyway, Friday night we get to go watch preseason, Jets vs. Giants, I haven't seen them play a home game in a while. Looking forward to the season starting, the Jets don't look too bad.
