Hey Howdy Hey! We're spending 4th of July w/Mickey..this time w/DxDP! *TR Started*

I'm loving your PTR so far! Can't wait to hear more!

I'm excited for my Ashlyn to be old enough to do BBB. :goodvibes I hope you plan on doing a TR! I would love to see pics!!!

We've had lunch and dinner in the castle (two separate trips :rotfl:) and are planning on doing lunch again this trip. We love it!!!

That video of your Ashlynn getting a call from Princess Tiana was just too sweet! Made me tear up. :)

Thanks for stopping by!

I was wanting her to do BBB last trip but she wasn't old enough! But she is now! I think we will be taking a dress w/us...thinking it'll be Cinderella.

I plan on doing a TR too w/tons of pics!! :goodvibes I  looking at everyone's pics from their trips too!

Glad to hear you like eating in the castle! I am sure we will too!

Thanks...she loved getting that phone call! I teared up too while she was on the phone!

Here are pics of the shirts that I ordered from Disney Store site for our Breakfast @ Chef Mickey's. They arrived yesterday! :goodvibes

Happy Easter Everyone!! (a day early!)

Hi Heather-

CUTE shirts!!! ohhh..that is a good idea, I didn't even think about shirts for the character breakfast! I've thought about doing shirts for the different parks day, but that would be fun to have shirts for the breakfast as well! Maybe I'll just do shirts for the kids for the breakfast....I'm probably pushing DH to his limit on the matchy-matchy stuff!

Hoping your DD hits a growth spurt these next 3 months! You never know...my DS4 grew almost 4 inches in the last year - so with shoes she could be close!

Happy Easter!
Karen

:dance3: for another day!! We are trying Plaza for the first time too on our trip in September. I think it will be really good. :goodvibes:

Great plans for day 1! I think it will be great to be able to avoid MK on the 4th. It is nice that they do the same show both of those nights. The DISign boards can be quite addicting! I have had a few things made for our trip too. It is so nice that the talented people over there are willing to share their abilities with the rest of us. :goodvibes:

What time are the EMH at EP? I would estimate 30 minutes to walk back to Akershus from the front of EP. I thought I had read somewhere they were taking away Remy, just as a head's up. I am curious to read about Garden Grill and see if you like it. I cannot wait to see a picture of the shirts for this day--they sound really cute.

cute shirts from Disney store! I am heading to there tomorrow! :cool1:

Hi Karen!
Thanks! We did shirts last year for Chef Mickey's too...even DH did! ;)
Hoping DD gets to the height requirement too!
Hope you had a Happy Easter! We did..it was actually warm enough that all the boys went swimming in the pool at my in-laws house!

I think I may try the Rueben at The Plaza...read good reviews on it! Who knows when we get there though! :)
The EMH at Epcot are for FW and is 8 - 9 am. WS is open at 11am.
I had read about Remy being taken away too but then read later that he is still there....not sure...hoping he is still there though!
Have fun shopping @ Disney store...I need to make a trip there but I would so get into trouble! :rotfl:

On to the Plan for Day 4 (July 5th).....Hollywood Studios & Animal Kingdom!

EMH @ HS this morning is 8 - 9a.

Our Breakfast ressie is for Hollywood & Vine Play & Dine @ 8:30a. This is another first for us!

We did not get to ride TSM last trip due to the wait of course...it was just crazy! So..I will be sending DH off for some FP for TSM while I check in for breakfast! I really want to ride ToT & RnRc this time around!

I have a ressie for 50s Prime Time Cafe for lunch @ 1:10p...this will be a first too! :)
Block Party Bash is @ 3p and I really want to be able to see it and for the kids too of course! Last trip the rain thought it was more important so the parade got canceled.

I do want to check out Starring Rolls as well..the reviews & pics that I have seen for them are just too yummy looking to pass up! Maybe we can get some snacks there but their sandwiches look great too & HUGE!

HS closes @ 7p this night...too early! So...if we are still there, I plan on making our way over to AK.

AK has EMH this night from 7 - 10p.

For Dinner...I have no plan! :scared1: The only 'plan' is to have a CS @ AK maybe...any suggestions??!!?? I was thinking to make a ressie for Y&Y but I am not sure that DH would enjoy the food there. :confused3

For the shirts this day....DD will wear Little Einsteins and DS will wear Star Wars or Monsters Inc.

Next........... Day 5 plans!

Hi Heather!

Your day 3 plans look great! Great idea to send DH for Fastpass while you check in for Bearkfast - perfect timing plus not too far away! I'm really looking forward to seeing Block Party Bash too - like how they stop and have the little performances in there - should be a lot of fun. And hopefully no rain this time!!!

Karen

Heather your DHS plans sound great!! We ate at the 50's PTC on our last trip and loved it! The food was good, we all ordered something different and we each loved it all! My dad had the pot roast and Cory had the meatloaf, both VERY good! Try the berries and angel food cake for dessert, it was REALLY yummy!!!!!

Heather:

Day 3 looks great! I have Block Party Bash on our list this year as well. We have never stayed at DHS long enough to see this and it looks like fun.

We are going to 50's Prime Time as well--only a day earlier. I am so looking forward to eating there. The food looks fabulous.

You will love TSM. It is our favorite ride. You might think about all of you going and riding first and then getting FP for later. We were at rope drop last year, got in line, rode in less than 5 minutes and then got our fast pass. I would think that with it being the day after the 4th crowds may be lower as a lot of people will sleep in after staying out late for the 4th.

popcorn::Can't wait to hear more of your exciting plans!

Yes...the rain can stay away and it wont hurt my feelings! ;) Yay for the Block Party! I was able to watch some of it back in 2007 while I was waiting on DH & DS to get done w/Star Tours..it is cute! But it has probably changed a bit.

Too bad we will miss each other @ 50's PTC!
Great idea on TSM! I was looking back at my paper and HS opens at 8am (EMH) so...maybe we can make RD too before our breakfast..that way we could ride TSM and get FP. Let's hope for lower crowds that day! ;)

On to the Plan for Day 5 (July 6th).....Do whatever day! :rotfl:

Our Breakfast ressie is for Boma (AKL) @ 8:30a. This is another first for us! I am REALLY looking forward to trying those Zebra Domes!

Today is suppose to be a waterpark and/or Downtown Disney day. Last trip we had the waterpark option and NEVER stepped foot at a waterpark! So...this year we must! I am not too big on the whole waterpark thing but DH & DS  them! Maybe they can go and I will take DD to do something??!!??

I have no plans for lunch...wherever we are at the time is where we'll stop for lunch. Hopefully DTD! :goodvibes WGPE sounds good or T-Rex again...we all enjoyed T-Rex last year! It's a fun place!

For Dinner we have a ressie for Cape May @ 7:15p....DS is looking forward to those crab legs!

Epcot is having EMH this night from 9:00p - Midnight....more than likely we join in for EMH after dinner.

For the shirts this day....DD & DS will wear WDW 2010 Shirts that I have a wonderful DISign for!

Next........... Day 6 plans!

Heather:

I have a question. How do make your shirts with the disigns you got?

Erika

I bought a pack of HP Iron-on Transfers for colored fabrics as a trial run! Found them at Target on sale too! Just save the Disign to your computer and then print it...there are directions on the tranfers box that will help. It was easy! Just buy whatever kind of shirt that you want and iron it on. There are iron-on transfers for white shirts only and for colored shirts....I had read that you should buy the colored ones..it works better and for all shirts. Hope this makes a little bit of sense! ;) It's really simple once you get the transfers and read the directions.

Hi Heather--your plans look great! I sure hope you are able to get on TSM, RNRC and TT! I am so glad Disney does the baby swap option! :goodvibes: We are trying H&V but for the F! package but everything I have read, it seems most enjoy it. There are rumors that Handy Manny is replacing the JoJo characters. It will be interesting to see if they do. Day four seems like a great day for relaxing!

Thanks! Yes, we also  the baby swap option! Its great!! What would we do w/out it??!!?
Jojo was so cute when the show was out(that was during DS toddler times) but DD has no clue who she is. DD does know who Handy Manny is so that would be cool to have them go through w/the 'rumor'!! *fingers crossed*
I wanted to try and fit Fantasmic in our schedule but I just cant seem to...we have never seen this show.
Should I make it a point to watch it?
I would have to move our nights around....

Well, I have not seen F! but it comes so highly recommended by several friends. One in particular says it is the BEST show at Disney period. Which coming from him, he is picky so that means something to me. :thumbsup2 With them offering it such few nights (well at least when we are going, not sure how it is over the summer) it is so hard to get into it that is why we did the F! so we are guaranteed seats without having to wait in line for hours.

It is a must do for us but we love fireworks and such! :goodvibes

I gave it a shot and called today to see if I could get into H & V or MM for the F! dinner package...but no luck! I may try back in a week or so to see if by chance anything is available.
They are only offering a few nights while we are there....maybe 3 nights i think....

Thanks!

My family enjoys this show and if you have the time then yes you should try to see it but to me waiting over an hour for anything is such a waste of my time.

I have enjoyed reading your pre-trip report. We will be there the 3-11th as well. We are having dinner the 3rd at Ohana (loved it last trip, had to have it twice this one) and are hoping to catch the fireworks from the beach at the poly resort after dinner. I really don't want to fight the crowds in MK if we can avoid it.

I have heard many positive comments about the F! show... I was able to snag a lunch F! ressie on July 8 @ 3:20p @ Mama Melrose. Now I have to try and move things around to fit it in! That was the only day I could get though!

Fireworks from the beach @ Poly! Sounds great! :cloud9:
Maybe our paths will cross while we are there!
