I will keep checking. I still need to call back and have them modify the original reservation. I got disconnected before he could do that and it wont let me modify it online. Says my room type isnt available for those dates. Im not in too much of a hurry though, not with having to spend more time on the phone trying to book these events Only could get 3 of the 4 I wanted, so I will be back on hold on Thursday morning.

Check out the official Star Wars thread as there are many reviews of both. It is a long thread but has some great info.

Oh I have read them, I think that is part of the problem! Some say - yay, great! Some say, nah, not worth it. I think, after talking with the family, we are back to dessert party only. I think we will get through the same things in the tour more efficiently ourselves, and doing a 7 hour tour to just make jedi training sign up easier is a bit silly. I think. Haha.

100 days for me!! 99 until I leave to drive down!!

I am in full planning mode. I have my MNSSHP ticket secured. My half day pool cabana rental secured at The Contemporary.

Also mostly have my dining lined out. I check daily for better times and availability at a few places I may want to try.

Now I am thinking fast passes. I don't do a lot of attractions because I really worry over my size and the ride. But I am working hard to be at a better place, personally, by my trip. Anyway, would love to do FOP but not sure it will work for me. But I am still making prelim lists of what I want to do.

Have decided I probably won't do HS this trip. So will be enjoying Epcot/AK/ and MK mostly. I do have hoppers so if I decide to go over to HS one evening I can.

I am so excited. I have this posted before, but the trip is for my 40th BDay and I'll be on my own. So I am splurging a little bit.

Is it possible AK will really close at 7:00 or 7:30? Will MK really only be open until 9 on non-party nights?
If they are reducing hours in the summer (and posters are saying it's crowded right now), I wouldn't be surprised if the reduce hours in October.

Thoughts?

No idea. The bad thing is we probably won't know until like sometime in a September and it does make it hard to plan.

While anything is possible I am gonna guess that MK will be open until at least 10 on nonparty nights since I have a 10 pm ADR for BOG on 10/4.

I also think that AK will be open a bit later since I have a TH ADR with a first seating for ROL on 10/1 and rivers of light wont be until 9:00-They cant kick me out at 7:30 if im gonna see a show at 9 and since I will have dining package seating I'm not lining up early to go in there-I wont be headed into the seating are until 8:15-8:30, I dont feel like I need to be super close and I dont want to wait that long. I was hoping that it would stay open later than ROL as well so I could walk around Pandora a bit after that and enjoy the bio-luminescence. maybe I'll need to do that before and head to the ROL seating area even later. Whatever. I have a dinging package so as long as I get there 30 minutes before I will get a seat.

So I think it should be at least 10 for MK and 9:00 for AK.

99 Days Dance!

It is still a ways to go, but our plans are coming together nicely. Hoping they extend some Epcot park hours until 11 so we can swing by and hit up some food booths before going to bed.

10/28 - arrive late, Chef Mickey for dinner, get a good nights sleep
10/29 - MK, Cinderella for Lunch, MNSSHP, Be Our Guest Dinner
10/30 - No dining plans, not sure which park in the AM but back to MK in the PM
10/31 - AK all day, Tusker House / ROL dining package for lunch
11/1 - Epcot, Akershus in the AM (hopefully a frozen FP), my mom will be arriving this day to watch the little one and let her recharge while we enjoy F&W
11/2 - Not sure on the AM, head to HWS for lunch at Hollywood & Vine - Fantasmic package
11/3 - Bon Voyage Breakfast, open day, a park in the AM - F&W in the PM most likely
11/4 - One last morning trip to MK then head home.
