I'm going to be in the Randolph area June 5th, so it's a maybe for me! If I can make it this would be my first DIS Meet

Well, the 6th and 13th would be best, but could manage 5th if it is mid-afternoon. DD has a dance recital at Mechanics Hall in Worcester at 10:30, over by noon.

Oh wow, a Boston meet. You guys will be able to get a good crowd from there, lots of DIS'ers in the area. Good luck guys. Do yourself a favor, try and go and see what it is like. Wish I was closer.

June 5th sounds ok. My DD's birthday party is that morning at Build a Bear in Salem, NH. Depending on what time you would meet, we could go.

Sunday the 6th is good also.

We love taking the train into Boston and doing sightseeing!

I would love to participate.... unfortunately I cannot make any of those dates!! I will be doing a mother/daughter camp out the 4-6, my Relay for Life is 11-12, and the following weekend is Father's Day and my birthday!. But I will keep an eye on the dates and maybe if it gets switched out I can fit it in!...............P

Hey folks,

I just had a through regarding this meet. The Mickey statues will be here at that time. So, I was thinking it might be fun to meet at Fanuiel Hall, have lunch someplace in that area, check out the Mickey statues (and get pictures of us with the Ben Affleck Boston Red Sox one), and then head over to the Swan boats (via foot--maybe a 20 minute walk or T).

What do y'all think of that?

I'll give it a bit more time to see if we get any more hits on this, and then determine a date.

The 13th would be great for me!! I might not be able to stay too late in the afternoon because of DS(7 months)-don't want him to sleep too late in the car or I'll NEVER get him to bed! LOL But I can meet for awhile!!! DS(5) would love the swan boats and the Mickey statues!

Oh I would love to come, the 13th works best for us as on the 5th is DD's birthday. It's easy for us to get there to as we live down the street from the train station. It would be me, DS and DD (maybe DH but who knows, he hates going into town becuase he works at the airport, strange but true!)

Oh, thanks to Antkim who brought this to my attention (I have been a little distracted the last few days) I would like to put my name down as going too. I have it on my calendar to go see the statutes too so that would be a great activity for all of us.

I really like the 5th. But given others problems with the 5th, I will take a look at what I can do about the 13th. Its my high school reunion weekend and my college roomate is in Boston for the weekend so I am already being dragged in too many different directions. So, work it out and I will see what I can do if its on the 13th.

I am going to PM a couple more people about this as they don't seem to have seen it.

Oh, by the way Karen, I was thinking we are more Dick's Last Resort type people - or maybe that's just me I am thinking of - the rest of you all are fine upstanding individuals, huh?

But if we are going to be over in the Faneuil Hall area for the statues that doesn't make a lot of logistical sense anyways.

not 100% sure I can join you, but either weekend would probably be fine! Trying to fill up all my time while DH is TDY so this is a good opporunity!
