He's Going to Camp AND We're Still Going to Disney:) Update Dec 14 post #665

Of course not! I made the Beast one on Zazzle and the Beauty one I made myself by glueing little rhinestones on. I thought it would take a lot of time, but really it was very quick.

 She needs more stuff for the trip, ya know.

I guess I will get to wear the one that says "Beauty" :rotfl2:

Think I'll take a trip on over to Zazzle :rolleyes1 :ssst:

And you made the Beauty one! Wow. I am so NOT talented like that.

Still checking around. DH like the Hades shirt on Zazzle. (Is he NOT telling me something?):confused3

Off to search some more before Hockey Skills practice.:surfweb:

declansdad, I've been seeing some of your pictures posted throughout the boards. You have some really neat ones. May I ask what kind of camera you use. I'm looking for a new one. Thanks

Thanks I try.

The camera would depend on which year you are looking at. Last summer I used an Olympus SP310. It is a 7.1 megapixel camera that is pretty easy to use. In 2005, i was using an HP Photosmart 810 (I think). It was a good camera but I didn't like te screen on the back. You could only see the zoom through the viewfinder. The first trip in 2004, i had a Kodak Easy Share 2 megapixel camera. Not to powerful but it took some decent pictures.

I would like to have a DSLR but I'm not sure I would want to carry it around WDW.

You can see all the pictures if you click on the link in my signature.

Pooksma was looking around youtube today getting a disney fix

Oooooh - I youtube to get a Disney fix sometimes, too! I don't do it very often, but sometimes a girl's just got to have a few minutes of Wishes or Spectro or Soarin', even if it is pretend, to offset the real worldness.

I can only do that when the boys aren't around, though. They make enough fun of me Dising, much less youtubing Disney! I wouldn't want to hear the teasing that would come with that.

How was your hockey day?

I've been working on my graduate class off and on all day. Sometimes they ask the same question three different ways, and you find yourself giving the same answers. What's the point?

I suppose to reward myself for a hard day's school work I could go and youtube a bit. I'll head that way now!

Youtube has been great for finding Disney-related videos. We use it quite a bit. I even put a couple of grainy videos up myself.

Hockey was fun to watch. Declan works so hard trying to get the skils down and you can see improvement everytime.

I have used that trick on tests. You really get to see if the students understands the material or if they have just memorized the answer.

Pooksma wants me to work on my MEd now that she is done. I will have to look in to it to see if i can work in in.

So it's smart people like you
who make simple-minded people like me
want to write the following -

For the umpteenth time, this is what I think _______ (insert whatever you are blah-blahing about).

That's what it was the first time, it didn't change the next two times, and it ain't gonna change in the future, so don't ask me again!!!

I never write it, but I sure do think it! ;)

On a positive note, I have already done all of section one and parts of sections two through seven. There are fifteen sections. I have until June 15th. I want it to be long over with by then.

LOL. I'm sure many people have thought the same thing.

Looks like you have plenty of time to answer all the questions 3 times. ;)

Thanks declansdad. I have a Kodak Easy Share 5.0 megapixel with 10X zoom. I love the pictures it takes, but the lens cap falls off everytime I put it in my purse or bag and I'm afraid the lens will get scratched up. So I'm looking for something that has a self-closing lens (I don't know what to call it). DH is going to take the Kodak and use it for filming video. It does a good job at that too. So I keep looking. I'll check out the one your using. Thanks

I'll also check out the link to your photos. I can't believe I didn't notice that link. Wow, I'm a little slow:rolleyes1

I'm going to check out the Youtube things too. Thanks

Ok I need a little help here. I REALLY liked bunny's shirts. Is there anywhere other than Zazzle that makes them?

I just saw a picture of a very cute little sleeping guy over on another TR. I think he belongs to somebody over this way!

That is a precious picture. Those are the kind we really treasure.

He was awake until just before the the start and woke up just after it ended. The Fairy Godmother noticed him asleep from the top of her float and made a little sleeping sign and gave a little "how cute" look. That is something I will always remember.

And here we go again...

This weekend we are off to Bangor,Maine with friends.:thumbsup2 I will be on the lookout for some good deals-Disney or otherwise. :woohoo: Have a great one all!

Hey all, we're back. I see that Nicole and MeMom have done sub updating. Will need to go read those.

I have some pictures from our trip to Bangor that I will post in a bit. We found this really neat children's museum and Declan had a ball. He even made paper!

Be back later!

Glad to hear you had a great time in my home state. (I miss it can you tell?) I grew up about 45 min away from Bangor. Were you at the Maine Discovery Museum? We were going to go there with my little nephew this past fall but ran out of time. That place looks like a lot of fun.

Glad you had a good time. Jill, John, and Brooklynn went to Chattanooga this weekend. They went to the aquarium, but they also went to a children's museum. Looks like this was education weekend for all!

That's the place. They had some really cool exhibits and it was a lot of fun. The were working on a new exhibit so I think we will need a return visit.
