YEAH!!!! DBF has been given a break from 11 tonight till 6 tomorrow! It really works out to 5 hours since his pick up is an hour from here...buth its better than nothing!
He just called, and since I dont have the DD's this weekend, he said he's on his way here, since he knows I'll make sure he's up at 430 to head back!...He's arriving with a load of work clothes that need to be washed and dried before he gets up...at least he can sleep....
They're down to about 25,000 customers without power, but they just had a few more crews from Connecticut show up, so the local guys are heading home for a nap....
Another nice note- a restaurant in the town they're in, PSNH got ahold of the general manager, and asked if they'd open for the guys- they normally are only open breakfast/lunch...well they opened from 7-930 for the guys, and fed them meatloaf, hot turkey sandwhichs etc... was really nice to hear they opened, and the guys got fed real food instead of gas station burgers!....He said about 75 guys ended up getting there between 7-930!
