Hershey Park--CandyLane?

I've never been to Hershey Park, and I don't really understand from the website. Is the park (i.e. the rides and attractions) open during the CandyLane thing? Or is it just a small section of the park where they have some Holiday festivities?

We were thinking of going, but if the rides are not open, we might rethink it. Does anyone have any information on this?

Mostly only the Kiddie Rides are open

We went and yes just the kiddie rides were open. It was pretty, but with 2 teens was not a good choice.

Hey Toot . We go to Hershey every year for Thanksgiving and Candy Lane is open then. This year for the 1st time they're charging to get into the park and then the rides, shows etc are free. In past years you could go through to see the lights and then pay for rides. It's $10 per person.

I don't know what specific rides are open this year but in the past they've had some of the bigger rides. Anything with water is closed, as are the really big roller coasters. There is a Christmas show this year that's cute. You might try calling guest services to ask about specific rides.

We went this year for ths first time- it was only $9.95 to get in! The only rides that are closed are the roller coasters. We had a great time, even the zoo is open! The Holiday Lights and Breakfast with Santa are extra but the park was great- we never stood in line.

We went there to get in the mood for our trip in 2 days!!!!

I've gone before and pretty much all kiddie rides are open. Any of the roller coasters or water rides are closed.
