Here's a tip for you . . .

When I took my then 4 year old last september, she wore crocs and had blisters also. I figured she was safe because she wore them all summer and loved them. But I guess walking in them and playing in them are different. We ended up putting bandaids on the inside of the shoes or wearing low cut socks with them or she was actually more comfortable in her flipflops...or her stroller. I don't see how people wear them out there all day.

Never had a blister with them! However I do wear coolmax socks with them!

I'm not wearing socks with them in the summer. I used Bandaid Friction Block on areas where I thought I would get blisters and that worked. But got a blister on the bottom of my foot!

I think that's the secret nobody tells! I'm sure it makes a difference.

:thumbsup2 It makes you look like a total doofus...but I don;t care...it's all about being comfy!!

If you do wear socks make sure you take them off for wet rides and if it rains! Put them back on when it's safe. :wizard:

OK guys here is my trick..it may seem weird..but it works...
for croc wearers..number one, they have to be real crocs..not the fake knock offs..they always hurt!!
I have 2 tips!! Number one: IN the morning before you leave for the parks, add baby powder to the shoes till it covers the spots, second, if you don't like that, I use spray deoderant on my feet, my feet don't sweat, therefore no rubbing!!

Or you could always look like a dork and wear the socks..lol!:rotfl:
WHatever works for you!!

If our crocs start to rub, we use body glide. And never, never, never wear new Crocs at Disney. They fit the best when they are well broken in and that minimizes blistering

I bought DD and I Croc flip flops-after people swearing up,down and sideways that they are great and comfortable.....

Wore them the first day in the parks and had to leave because our feet/shins hurt so bad-and we had broken them in at home.

Ditched the crocs and wore our Teva mush flip flops, and never had a problem. No hurting feet, no blisters, nada.

Crocs+Bodyglide...that is the trick.

I aternate my crocs caymans and crocs athens each day, and wear dressier shoes/sandals at night when we go out.

On last year's trip I took Crocs (broken in), Nike tennies, and my Teva Whitewaters. The day I wore the Crocs (no socks) was the only day I got blisters. I ended up mostly wearing the Tevas - most comfy shoe I ever had, I think. They weren't even that broken in, but I didn't need bandaids, socks, powder, nothing, and my feet felt great all day. Plus they are way cuter than the other two pairs.

A CM told me that socks with Crocs are a must if the weather is hot enough where your feel will sweat. It's the moisture that causes the problems.

I never got blisters but they made my exema flare up on my feet after only wearing them for 2 hours. i hadnt had a flare up for years before that.

I have never had blisters with Crocs, but my sister did. I wear socks, she does not. I also bring Body Glide with me, but have not had to use it. Another poster mentioned Bandaid Blister Block for your feet.

I get blisters with tennis but not crocks. The problem for me with crocks my heels hurt it's not enough cushion. At the end of the day it feels like someone is pounding my heels with a hammer.:scared:

Before they came out with crocs I tried everything on my feet. Nothing worked, my feet always hurt and I always had blisters. However since the Crocs I have had no problems. I do use the body glide for my feet then put on a nice pair of low socks and have never had any problems. I don't care if they are ugly. After 2 weeks of walking thru the parks every day I am still feeling great. :cheer2:

Wearing my capri flip flops was a bad mistake. I didn't get blisters, but my feet hurt really bad and I had indents in them from those stupid circulation nubs. My mary janes were better, as long as I had a nylon footie sock. And only for like half a day. Body Glide + Crocs = Bad. This stuff might be ok if you are wearing socks, but do not use it otherwise. All it did was make my feet slide around.

Can't find anything called "Teva Whitewaters" on Zappos.com.

I wear croc to Disney and have never gotten a blister but, I do wear very low socks with them. I may look like a dork but, at least my feet don't hurt. I have tried flip flops at the parks and I wound up with a blister between my toes and horrible charlie horses in my legs that night. I am sticking with crocs with socks:)!
