Everything's fine. Thanks for deleting the pic. I read Feralpeg's thread and it spooked me. Yesterday was the first time I ever posted my dd's pic. I was always too paranoid to do it, and now I know why. I just wanted it deleted before anyone would decide to take it. I think everyone's in a panic right now.

Go read feralpeg's thread. I couldn't get past the first page it is just so disturbing. I would go ahead and delete your handsome man. You know I am a really laid back person and it takes a lot to get my feathers ruffled. Seriously though, when it comes to people hurting kids, I have no tolerance. I pray people like that do not have children in their care.

Last I heard, her hubby said he was doing well. I wonder if they figured out what caused that reaction? She's had a rough one for sure. I'm glad we have our happy threads. Seriously, I need to come to these places to just leave my troubles behind sometimes.

I am so glad to have you all.

Aiden is still fairly red and swollen, they don't know what caused the reaction, but it was for sure an allergic reaction. He has had Benadryl and a steroid, and some of the swelling has gone down enough that it looks to me like he has a bite on his thigh, with a bunch of bad scratch marks around it.

I am allergic to insect bites/stings, so it would not be surprising if he is too. He has his regular pediatrician appt next week, and I had already planned on asking to have some allergy testing scheduled, as we recently discovered he is allergic to bahia grass (as am I) because one day after playing outside, he came in with hives from feet to knees, just like I get.

Thank you all for your concern, and please give me a double Hidden Mickey drink. I've had a rough night!

I know what you mean. I never meant anything bad about squishy balls. It was that other person that started that thread and was talking about theirs exploding all over their ferret. Nothing dirty there, but then referencing it on our thread, I guess it must have come across differently.
