We have Aquatica tickets this year. Only been once before, a few years ago, any tips for where to sit? I like to sit whilst DH and DD go on the water slides

Not really, just grab a shade for the strong sun and heavy downpours xxx

I have never tried Logans but have put Millers ale house on the list ...do they have a website?

Eat there again last night ...... Second best meal of the holiday (lobster again lol) best meal was last Wednesdays lobster ....... Defo takes some beating

We discovered Miller's Ale House on our last trip. The food certainly isn't gourmet but it is very good and terrific value. We will be eating there on our first night there next month.

Our strategy this year was to get there a little before opening. They let us through turnstiles and then they had a rope at the pathways. Have a look at the map for where you want to position yourself for the best path for you. Some families went straight to the loungers at the sandy section. We knew beforehand what slides we wanted headed to them did them 2 or 3 times headed to next one. Rather than stay at one area we picked up water shoes and sunglasses and moved on to a different area where we left them at another nearby lounger. After this the queues were getting really long so we then let the children play at Walkabout Waters, moving onto Roa's Rapids and finally the two wave pools before heading out the park at lunch-time. Our top tip this year at the water parks was to leave our backpacks in the car and not have to bother with locker rental which slows things up when we first enter. The previous visit we missed out on doing slides due to thunder storms so that's why my startegy this year involved getting all our favourite slides down early on. Have a good day at Aquatica. It has some great slides.

You should have a go at the rides yourself. They are a lot of fun and nothing as extreme as Summit Plummet. A good number are double rings. I think Aquatica has some of the best slides.

Tassie's Twisters and Omaka Rocka were particularly good fun. I really like rides where you are in a tube as you are much more cushioned. The Dolphin ride we missed this year as all you get is a lot of spray in your face!

My only complaint with Aquatica this year was the showers, or should I say lack of!, Blizzard Beach definitely had the better facilities of the two parks but the rides at Aquatica are awesome! Must add just ate for the first time at Mannys and it really did live up to its reputation ...... Equally as good as Millers ...... Service and food were both excellent.

Manny's is our absolute favourite. We usually go 3-4 times each holiday.

Mannys is still on my to do list as it always gets good reviews
