Here now - they claim no bounceback

Folks definitely shouldn't confuse not having an offer in the room with their not having an offer available. I am not sure there is ever a time when they don't have one available.

Are those offers any better than what comes out later? It's hard for us to book so far in advance.
Yes, most of the time they are better than general public discounts.
When the Free Dining Bounceback is out it usually has better dates and more resorts too.
It'a always worth calling if you think you want to return within the following year.

Disney doesn't always make the bounceback offers easy to find. Over the years, they have been emailed, listed on the TV, been on a separate card in the room & been in the BE Our Guest Guide in the room. You don't have to wait to "receive" a bounceback. ALWAYS call extension 8844 from your room phone if you are interested in booking a bounceback. Just ask for info, as long as you are a current guest at a Disney resort, you are eligible.

Note: Disney does not call them bounceback offers either. They call them "future stay offers". Sometimes I wonder if this is part of the problem. CMs may not understand what you are asking if you ask about a bounceback.

This. SOmetimes you see them sometimes you don't I always just call before I leave and book one. It is easier to cancel if plans fall through than to try to find an offer that is as good.

We've never gotten a "bounce back" offer. Always something to promote DVC.

That's why I posted here to ask. I will save the number to bring on future trips.

The BB offer is usually inside the middle of the Be Our Guest Guide. @Disneylover99 offered the best way to find out, but make sure to call while you're still checked-in. I believe the current BB offer is only for Free Dining:

The Free Dining bounceback for 2017 includes the following check-in dates:

  • May 30 through June 6, 2017
  • June 30 through July 5, 2017
  • August 11 through September 9, 2017
  • December 8-20, 2017

I just wanted to say "Hey Kook!" :wave2:

As others have mentioned, you may not have the offer in the room but you are always qualified for booking the one currently offered during your stay. It's not like a PIN where only some people get them.

Check the red folder on the table in the room. It's in the center of the brochure inside the red folder.

There may not be a folder in the room, red or any other color. When we were at YC in December, the only information in the room was a room service menu. It was reported that a few of the resorts were doing away with the Be Our Guest guide that used to be in the room. I know what to look for, we have stayed at Disney resorts for about 22 years. There was nothing there. I was able to book the bounceback by calling 8844.

I don't know how Disney is going to get the bounceback info to guests in the future. But as of now, you have to hunt for it.

Agreed. I haven't seen a bounceback flyer in years.

We didn't have any information on a bounce back offer when we stayed at the Grand Floridian in December but I was still able to book the BB by calling the extension from our room phone. There isn't an offer in our current resort room at the WL either. They stopped putting the Be Our Guest books in the rooms. I haven't seen one in ages.

We had one at FQ in January

Also currently at WL, no offer or Be Our Guest book in our room, either, just FYI.

There was no bounce back offer for us when we were there in November.
We were there in November and there was a BB offer going on. We did not get the literature but had to call. Once WDW decided to give mousekeeping the job of leaving the brochure the odds of getting it has become very small. I personally think that WDW, while still offering a BB, is not advertising it purposely. We have not seen one the last 3-4 trips. I use to hunt down mousekeeping carts and grab one from there, but did not even see it on the carts on our trip a few weeks ago:(

I think part of the problem may have been using the term bounceback offer. They don't call them that anymore - so a newer CM would have no idea what you are talking about.

Yep, it's part of the confusion. Disney calls them "future stay offers". But that really doesn't explain why Disney is making it so hard to find the information. If you don't know the extension to just call & ask, you think there is no offer. Guests don't know where to look or who to contact, so they think there is no offer.

There was no folder of any kind in the room. There was no booklet which had information about a future stay. I wasn't surprised that there was no information in the room. I wasn't surprised that the cast member gave me incorrect information. It seems to be par for the course. If you want to save money and have accurate information, you have to be on the disboards.

When I was there last month I got an email telling me to book my next vacation at a discount before checking out. There was also a page about current bounce back offer in the booklet at Pop in our room.
