We arrived Sat, to HORRIBLE weather. Cold & Rainey. Headed to EPCOT, no lines.

Sunday - headed to MK, went on Dumbo 2x, with no line walked onto Carousel, 10 minute wait for BTM and captained the Liberty Boat. Saw a bunch of chacters. The longest wait was maybe 15 minutes. But it was COLD!

Monday - EPCOT again, 15 minute wait for Soarin in the AM ane then Parent Swapped it, I was on in 10 minutes. No wait for Mission Space and 15 minute wait for Sum of all Fears ( I think that is the name - the new roller coaster ride). Walked onto Journey in Imag. & NEMO. Got a little warmerr.

Tuesday - DHS - FP TSM, and walked onto RRC & ST, The Little Mermail, Great Movie Ride. Then went to AK w/ DD. Walked onto TTB, Dinosaur & Safari. Got warmer!!

Wed - 15 minute wait for Everest, and that was the longest wait of the day for us.

Here is Small World on Sunday about 11:00AM

Thurs. DHS - 10 minute wait for TSM and that was the longest wait we had. Temps were awesome. Actually went swimming this afternoon.

I am really enjoying the low crowds! We took pictures, and in some, you see no crowds!!!

Thanks for the post! Glad temps are warming up, we'll be there in a week and hope for the same low crowds.

Enjoy your time!

oh this is terrific news! i arrive tomorrow and am hoping for low crowds!!! *fingers crossed* :goodvibes:wizard:

w-family, thanks for the update and I'm so happy the weather is getting nicer for your trip. You say you went swimming, what temp was it that day and are the pools heated? We're going in March and have never gone when the temps are lower.

It is amazing how time of day makes a huge difference in the crowds at the parks. I was also there from Thursday through Monday of this week. Sunday was the marathon so I was running during the morning. I imagine that kept the crowds down during the early part of the day. When I was in the Magic Kingdom Sunday evening, it was packed. On Monday, I went to all four parks starting with HS. After rope drop, I went with the crowds to TSM. I was on in one of the first cars. After finishing, I went back on, this time with a 15 minute wait. Next, it was off to TT which had a 1/2 hour wait. After getting a FP, I went on ST before going back to TT. Next, it was off to Epcot. Most of the attractions had about a 1/2 hour wait. Went on MS and Malestorm. Next, it was off to the MK. The MK was absolutely packed. The line for Minnie's House was tremendous stretching well past the entrance. SM had an hour wait. The final park visit was to AK. EE had an hour wait and Dinosaur was 40 minutes. KRR was a walk on given the weather.

I expect this coming weekend to be brutal with the MLK holiday.

Here since Tuesday! Wednesday in the mk was the slowest I've seen ever. Everything was walk on and fastpasses were useless. Toddy at dhs wouldn't have been quite so bad but there were about a dozen tour groups and falling behind them in a queue was a scary thing! We rode tsm twice, did tot and er twice, ate at sci-fi and left. Tonight at epcot was glorius...fastpasses for soarin still available at six pm!

Today should be wonderful weather-wise. It's still going to be chilly when the sun goes down and in the morning, but it should be great out there and I hope you have a great day!

:)

I have to say, we had an awesome week. Yes a little cold in teh beginning, but I have never seen such short lines. I guess we really hit the parks right! Saturday when we left, the crowd were picking up a MK, but I think I could be talked into going at this time of the year again!.

The pools are heated. I think the the temps were in the 70's that day. We brought the kids clothes with us to the pool and had them vhange right out of thei bathing suits when they got out of the pool. Water was nice, but walking around was chilly. :thumbsup2

I hope the crowds stay low this month!

I hope they take that Xmas stuff down before we get there or I'll GAG....

I'm going to move this over to our trip report board.
