Here now...some good, one bad, one great

Dw and I arrived last Thur, 1/26. We stayed 3 nights at Kidani and now at Poly until Fri. We are on Dining Plan, he is our quick reviews so far:

Le Cellier for late lunch. Worth one Table Service. Excellent service and the steak was fantastic. Love the pretzel breadsticks and mashed potatoes.

Yak and Yeti...almost as good as Le Cellier. Steak and Shrimp was very good and the Sweat and Sour Chicken was nice. Pot Stickers app and dessert also good.

Bomas...Not Good...First time here and not impressed with anything. Too crowded, too close together, food not good. Gets the Check, as in done that.

Narcoosees...Excellent. Filet was very tender and tasty. Dw had Lobster tail as well as said it was very tender. ( we are from New Hampshire and she is very picky about lobster). Lovely location and feel to restaurant.

We are planning The Wave, Tepan Edo and Konas the next few days.

We do like the refillable mug as part of the plan. :thumbsup2. Simple but nice

Yum . . you are making me hungry! Good to know about Yak and Yeti, we have yet to try that . . .

Have a great trip!

Enjoyed The Wave tonight. Bar area was hoppin while restaurant was a bit quiet. Apparently, location on first floor away from monorail affects traffic. PennePasta with Shrimp and Mussels and the Chicken on potato waffles were bothe excellent. Only drawback, they could not seem to make a proper vodka martini... Oh well :rotfl2:

Konas tonight. Issues. My Terryaki Steak was good. But. DW did not have a good experience. Had to send back shrimp and scallops twice. Plate was way too hot and food way too cold. Plus the waitress seemed to have too much going on. We were hoping together to MK for Wishes but ended up watching from Poly.talked to mgr at Konas and she was not understanding; seems she is not sure how to take care of DDP customers as apposed to cash customers. :confused:Went to front desk and talked with Htel Front Desk mgr and they credited us $50 to our room. She listened, empathized and came to a solution. All in all a frustrating experience. Let's hope Tepan Edo is awesome tomorrow.
