TheDisney411 said:I'm not sure what some people consider LOW crowds, but we have been here all week and the crowds are much bigger than expected for us. I would say the crowds are more moderate this week than low. Triceratops Spin had a 20 minute wait yesterday at AK and the Fastpasses for Toy Story were gone today at 10:45 am. We always travel during low crowd weeks and have never even seem a line for triceratops - crazy. Most of the headliners have had 40 minute more waits. The shops and the walkways are just mobbed with people. Downtown Disney is a zoo right now.
I have to agree with you. The people who are sharing low crowd reports are the ones getting to parks at rope drop and the leaving by mid afternoon, or going to MK on a party day. We have a shorter trip trying to cram a lot in, do making rope drop isn't an option. But we are arriving mid morning and staying til park close (and beyond. Our Adr's have kept us late. )
We know what low crowds are like. We usually go right after Labor Day. I'd agree with the assessment that these are moderate crowds. We went to DTD this am and it was busy. I experienced the same busy this morning at 10:30am that I'd experience on a night at DTD in September. We stopped at POFQ and talked to the concierge. She said they were 100% booked for tonight and only had a handful of rooms for tomorrow.
Ride waits are longer and I agree that there are just more people out and about. Oh, and we are going for the recommended parks. Wednesday was not recommended for MK but it was the day we wanted to see MSEP and we had snagged a BOG ADR.

).used FP from earlier to ride TSM again, saw little mermaid show, rode RNR.by now it was 5:00pm. We ate at pizza planet then were on Streets of America in time for light pre- show. After first set of dancing lights we got in line for photopass picture under light canopy. We watched the lights until about 7:30 and were out of there
