In 2.5 hours we have been on every ride and show except 5!(did not do Tom Sawyer island either or tree house)- anyway-everything is a walk on- so excited. Going to BOG for lunch- Love new Ariel ride (did that twice with zero wait). Hitting Belle show later. Weather is splendid! I usually come in August and with zero crowd and perfect weather--- this is now my new favorite time to come!

Splash is up and running- although little girl sweeping bunny missing, no rabbit with tuning away bag and of course floating turtles as still not
Floating.

New mermaid light images and skeleton are nice addition.

I will try to answer questions later today if anyone had any.

enjoy the rest of your time at wdw.:)

Party days in the MK are just awesome, aren't they? :)

Glad you are having a great day.

No, no, no. You've got it all wrong! The post-Thanksgiving time is not a low crowd time anymore!

(Just ask all the people who go to MK this Saturday).

Good to hear, TP has Magic Kingdom rated a 1.4 today - sounds like they got it right. Did you also take advantage of EMH at 7am? On a low crowd day that couldn't have been more perfect for you. Enjoy!

We have been there in the two weeks following Thanksgiving and we were treated to low crowds as well. Have a great time, you lucky duck.

If they open Test Track for preview, you'll have to post and let us know how it is.

Hope the weather stays nice. When we went it was a little chilly.

Is it really not slow around this time anymore? We get there Saturday.

We'll be there late tonight. Can't wait! Used easywdw to help us plan our days so hopefully we'll only see low crowds :)

DH & DMIL just left. They went after brunch today while I came back to the resort and said it was nice too. It has been busier this year than last year at the same time but everything has been managable! Awesome weather too!

They saw NPH walking around Fantasyland with his family too!

For the first time in a long time we are not staying on site- got into MK-and went straight to Grotto. Rode 2x with zero wait. We did head over to BoG for lunch at 10:30 but the line was long and out the door and around the bend- so we decided to skip until next time.- 10:30 am and line was nuts- I guess everyone in the park was in that line :)

At MK for party now- waiting for castle to be lit up- good times!

Well, first of all, Saturdays are rarely a good day to go to MK. Second, this Saturday is the day they film the Christmas parade, so it'll probably be worse than a normal Saturday. (Also, it doesn't help that, because of the parties, there's fewer opportunites to see the nighttime entertainment at MK.)

I would have thought this was a busy week...good to know that it isnt

Why would you think that? I would expect Thanksgiving week to be bad, but not this week.

Love hearing this! I'm planning week-after-Thanksgiving for 2014! Sounds like I picked a good week. DH isn't thrilled the kids will miss a week but I'm a bad mom who doesn't care! No crowds at Disney- lets go!

We leave tomorrow for WDW, in the parks 12-1 to 4. I am hoping that its far enough from opening of previews and before the grand opening of fantasyland that it might be a *little* slower than the surrounding weeks.

Also, YAY WE LEAVE FOR DISNEY TOMORROW! My daughters' first trips :)

Well excuse me for not realizing you were joking.

I'm not sure what some people consider LOW crowds, but we have been here all week and the crowds are much bigger than expected for us. I would say the crowds are more moderate this week than low. Triceratops Spin had a 20 minute wait yesterday at AK and the Fastpasses for Toy Story were gone today at 10:45 am. We always travel during low crowd weeks and have never even seem a line for triceratops - crazy. Most of the headliners have had 40 minute more waits. The shops and the walkways are just mobbed with people. Downtown Disney is a zoo right now.
