Here now.....a few observations

This is by NO means a complaint thread, we are having a great time. Just a few things all 12 of us have noticed collectively...

The soap in the bathrooms make your hands smell like vomit.

No issues with any ecv people. All very polite. A few stroller issues, nothing too major and my ankles will heal.

The BTGs are out of control.

We are staying at akl and blt. we have seen a ton of the cheerleader groups in the parks and have not encountered an issue.

We do a lot of ts. For the most part, the service has been mediocre at best. So disappointing. Narcoossees was wonderful as always.

The weather is much warmer than expected, so we are washing shorts a lot.

Pin trading is really disappointing. All of the disney cms have the same crappy old pins on their lanyards.

Cms were doing an amazing job of getting people out of mk who didn't purchase a mvmcp ticket. Better than I have ever seen.

We just got back and witnessed several rude encounters due to inconsiderate ECV folks. However, the number of ECV's we saw was up in general, thus making the population of rude users within that group increase as well.

My grandmother could never even imagine being able to go to a place like Disney World if not for ECV's, so I am not bashing ALL ECV folks. Just kind of disappointing!

The BTG's were INSANE last week. Hope it gets better for those of you there now and arriving soon!

Table service has been decent in the main, although I was quite disappointed with our first ever Le Cellier experience.

Have not encountered any BTG's over the last five days.

Have encountered lots of cheerleader groups, only recognizable due to their matching shirts, and not their behavior. In fact, we have only warm and fuzzy feelings so far.
Great vacation.

I noticed that most of the sinks in the park had really low water pressure, too. Made it harder to rinse the soap off!

Also here now... Dh and I had great service at le cellier this past week however I was really disappointed with service at the following:
50s ptc- usually love it but this server didn't make it fun
Hddr- another big surprise for me server was just blah
Worst was rose and crown server was absolute worst!!! She got mad and snappy when my 70 year old grandma asked her to sing happy birthday to me, refusing and stating that illuminations was present enough

We can also agree that yes a lot of btg mostly at magic kingdom, but cheer and dance groups were fine. No long lines inI any park

You have got to be kidding me that is...there is no excuse for comments like that I don't care how bad your day is going. I would have been mad to tears if anyone made that comment to someone, especially a grandmother. That is just awful

Here now as well and the parks have been far more crowded than we expected. Lots more cheerleaders, ball players etc. than we have seen in the past. The ECV people we have encountered have been rude and not paying attention. Texting while driving, running over photopass people as well as my wife's foot. She almost needs one herself now. Weather is great though and BOG is great as well as the new Fantasyland and love the new test Track. If only we had seen the dragon!

Arrived today. Weather great. Check in for POP CM was blah but the custodian over at Cars side at Animation resort was awesome. Very interactive and fun! Also the CM at their food court made great selection ideas and was excited by his food. Two lifeguards and no one in pool

It's out of line for your grandmother to order a server to sing to you. In what restaurant anywhere would you do that? It's just not appropriate.

That being said, a skilled server should be able to decline the request in a fun and pleasant manner.

I'm not sure if you meant "requested" or "demanded". I don't think she demanded it. As for requesting it, it's not that uncommon. We were celebrating my birthday on our trip. The resort CM's told me to wear my button all week, so I did. In one restaurant, 5 servers came and sang. We saw people being sung to at 50's PTC, 'Ohana, and Les Chefs.

I agree, the server should not have been rude.
