Herbie the Love Bug is Crying!

Disney is currently developing a new Herbie TV show for Disney XD, but Herbie the Love Bug himself is crying because they're about to give him the ability to talk and he does not wanna talk! How are we gonna cheer him up? Also, we'd better stop Disney from giving Herbie the ability to talk and let them continue the development!

I don't know. It kind of depends on the context and execution. I do think Herbie has worked fine without being able to talk. It's amazing how emotive they can be with him, even without a voice. I think I could see him talking if this were animated, but it sounds like it's live action. Still, I'm willing to wait and see.

All clean and waxed, but still crying. The bath didn't work. Now what do we do, BrianL?

I don't know. I mean, I don't want Herbie to be sad, but I'm not sure anything can cheer him up. Unless cancelling the new show is what he wants, but, sorry, that is out of my power. Maybe he can just look forward to entertaining a whole new generation with his adventures.

Herbie doesn't wanna cancel the new show, but he still doesn't wanna talk. Can we try tickling him?

I suppose. Maybe they won't make him talk in the new show. Have his agent put a rider in the contract. Maybe that'll help. In the meantime, I suppose you can tickle him, though I don't know how to do that to a car.

Well, I guess it's been a while since I've seen the Herbie movies. I should catch up.

I tickled him with the buffer and he laughed during the tickling. But when I stopped, he resumed crying. Tickling didn't work, either. Now what do we do?
