Help

I need to decide between POR, WL, and AKL. They all seem to have good and bad to them. I want someplace fun for the whole family with good transportation to all the resorts. I know that's a lot to ask, but I really want this to be special. It will be my parents last trip to disney and my 4yo's first trip. Any hints on where to stay and how to make it special would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. By the way, we are planning for the 1st week of December and will be going to MVMCP on 12/2

That's a tough one! We have stayed at WL and POR and enjoy both. We are going to AKL over Thanksgiving so I can't offer input yet. WL is truly gorgeous this time of year with the Christmas Decor. I hear AKL is too. We stayed at WL in Dec and it worked out great since our focus was MK. The boat ride over was fun, AND we had a car for the other parks. Plus you get the EWP and a balcony. We went in POR to the food court during this time and they had a pretty tree in the lobby. I think I would go with WL or AKL since your parents will be with you. Having everything under one roof, plus having a balcony to unwind on are big perks.
Look at pictures online to help. You really cannot go wrong at WDW.

We've stayed at both POR and WL. POR is very nice, but IMHO, you can't beat the atmosphere at WL. It's also really cool being so close to MK!

Thank you both. It seems like everyone really loves WL. I have seen it on TV, but not in person. I have just one more question--what is EWP--sorry if this is a stupid question?
