Hey guys I've been stalking this page for a while. I'm going to Disney world the first week of may with my 6th year old daughter. I have a 6 day pass I was thinking epoct, animal kingdom, Hollywood studios all one day and magic kingdom 2 or 3 days. Does anyone suggest a second day at any of them other parks with a 6 year old? Also, I haven't been to Disney since in like 10 years what are the best things to use the fast pass with for a 6 year old. Thank you all!

For the best use of FP+ check out this post: http://disboards.com/threads/fastpa...ed-priorities-and-strategies-part-ii.3326057/

I personally would recommend a second Epcot day. My daughter will turn 6 at the end of the month and it's her favorite park. We spend one day in FutureWorld and a second exploring the World Showcase. But, you can always leave the choice up to your daughter as well and let her decide where she wants to spend that additional day. You won't be able to book FP+ in advance (or, more than a few days in advance if, for example, you do DHS on the first day and she decides then and there she wants to go back) but you'll be able to book day-of.

My oldest DS asks for second days at MK and AK. He doesn't really care for Epcot, and he likes HS but not enough for a second day.
I'd do as PP's said, and let her decide after she's spent some time at the parks.

3 parks in one day with a 6 year old will be a challenge, imo.

We chose to do 2 days in Epcot, 2 in MK, 1 in AK and left the last day open for them to decide which park they wanted to re-visit (or visit if they chose HS). They chose to skip HS and go back to AK for the last day. It was perfect!

She has 6 park days, so I think she meant 1 day each at AK, Epcot and DHS.

I would say either add an Epcot day or do three at Mk.

As far as fastpasses, at MK, I would do seven dwarves, Peter Pan, Anna and Elsa Meet and greet if she is interested, and Splash Mountain

Doh! That would make much more sense. :D

Thanks everyone! I think I'll just wait and let her decide if she like Epcot well do a second day there. I was thinking of maybe even adding a day at the waterpark since I have an early flight in

If staying onsite, you need to decide 60 days ahead of time where you'll be. If off-site, it is 30 days ahead, due to booking FP+. Otherwise, you may end up standing in lots of long lines.

We've taken our daughter at age 5 and 6. We did two at Epcot as well, she loved Epcot! Especially spaceship earth. We did one short day there starting in the afternoon for future world but it was food and wine so more empty not sure if flower and garden makes future world less busy or not.

If she is into the disney junior characters, Star Wars, Pixar definitely got co HS if she not you might want to skip it? We liked a few things but really were kind of meh about the park. Our plan this fall is to do a half day, however we don't do the thrill rides! I would definitely do a FP for toy story mm ride, it's so much fun and gets crazy crowded.

We wished we spent more time at animal kingdom but we are big animal lovers so it held our interest well. Are you doing any character meals? Does she want to meet lots of characters?

Yes she's into Disney Jr I have reservations.for Hollywood and vine. I have the Disney dining plan, so I have reservations for one character meal a day, so excited! :jumping1:

When DD was that age, Epcot was her favorite so we always did 2 days there. Personally, I think 3 days at MK would be overkill, unless you were doing very short days. Whatever you decide, I would make FPs in advance somewhere for the 6th day, but don't be afraid to change plans at the last minute if a different park becomes her favorite.

My kids only like the rides epcot, not the World Showcase. (I'm making them go through again for our March trip regardless). They actually have requested a 3rd day at MK, last time we did two, which is enough time to do everything, but they could be happy with riding everything at MK over and over. My kids have been several times and are now 9 and 11.

Of course you don't HAVE to decide in advance, but maybe you can try to guess whether you'll pick a third MK or an Epcot or whatever. Pick your fastpasses for your predicted park (making sure that you don't out your "must-do" Fastpasses on this "bonus" day) and then if you guessed right, you have FPs all lined up. If your daughter picks something else, you simply change your FPs to whatever you can get in her chosen park as soon as you know which park and you're no worse off than leaving them blank would have been.
