Where would i go about buying a goose for Christmas Dinner? I can't seem to find any in our supermarkets....

I dunno? Could you request it from your normal grocery store? I know Publix will get special requests in.

Or maybe a meat market?

I also think that you should just ask the meat man at your grocery store. If yours won't do it, someone in town will.

Where have you checked?

The Bread and Circus and Wild Harvest Co-op type places may be able to order one for you, or point you in the right direction, if they don't have it.

Is there a Sutton Place Gourmet grocery in Beantown? If not, there must be some other gourmet grocery. The only geese I've ever eaten were acquire my dear ole Dad.

I tried BJ's but they didn't have any and the guy there said they'd never carried any but I SWEAR i saw some before T-day. very cute with the three legged goose jokes...your all so....funny!!

lilboo and paras...how much do you guys think goose costs? I would need a 12 pounder....i hope its not too expensive!!!

I have no idea how much per pound. They charged 2.10 per pound for their turkeys at Thanksgiving. THey don't have their own website but I'll keep poking.
