DTD- Bongos vs.Wolfgang Puck's

MGM- no idea

AK- Tusker House vs. Flame tree

Epcot- Tangierine vs ???

Mk- no idea

Any help would be appreciated. I have no idea what I'm doing, so if one of my selections is sub-par, LET ME KNOW. :confused3

Who you are traveling with and what you are looking for makes a difference.

At MK we love the character meals.

At MGM we usually do the Fantasmic Dinner package at Hollywood and Vine.

At Epcot many people love Le Cellier for great steaks and Coral Reef for a great atmosphere. The people with young children often go for the Norwegian restaurant for the princesses.

Who is going - adults? kids?

Since you are so close to your arrival, I will only suggest counter service meals...

At MGM, if your fam enjoys Toy Story (or Chuck E Cheese) dont miss Pizza Planet :sunny:

At MK, my family loves Cosmic Rays

At Epcot, there are many many choices for counter service in WS, and in FW, theres the land food court, and the electric umbrella. I havent been in ages, but it seems like the Umbrella is more traditional offerings, while the land has switched to more diverse tastes :wave:

Good luck... BTW, if you want a table service meal, call wdw dining immediately, and see what is still available. http://www.allearsnet.com/

will show you menus

That would help :rotfl: . It will be myself, and my two sons, 11 and 15, who really will eat anything, but have their preferences for hearty meals (don't all boys?)

Tusker House in AK is pretty awesome! I've never eaten at Flame Tree so I really can't make a comparison.

MGM isn't really known for it's dining selection. Pizza Planet (CS) from what I've read is rather sub par. The Sci-Fi dine in is a lot of fun, and although a lot of folks say they don't like the food there, I personally think it's great. Then you have 50's Prime Time and Mama Melrose, and all the offerings at the Sunset Ranch.

Epcot is chock ful of great places to eat. A favorite of ours for lunch is Sunshine Season's in The Land. For dinner, well, there are just so many to chose from.

A couple stand outs in MK would be the Crystal Palace and Cosmic Ray's.

Here's a good site to look at menus and read up on a few reviews:

Good luck!

DTD = Wolfgang Pucks (we've had really rude servers twice at Bongos)

MGM = Mama Melrose (if you have kids - Sci Fi Dine In Theatre)

AK = Tusker House

Epcot = Biergarten

MK = Pecos Bills

DTD- House of Blues blows Bongos out of the water

MGM- Forget Counter sevice here, go Mama Melrose or Sci-Fi, but do the Fantasmic dinner package.

AK- Tusker House & Flame tree. Both rock. I think Flame Tree is the best CS in WDW

Epcot- I don't like couscous or hummus. But I love San Angel Inn or even the Cantina outside. Alfredo's is a solid Italian place. Everyone loves Le Cellier.

Mk- Try Pecos Bills for CS. Tony's or Liberty Tree are OK. Overall, the food is mediocre in MK.

In the resorts, I would go to Boma at AKL and 'Ohana at the Poly. My two favorite sit down joints. Have fun!
