I recently discovered we can make reservations for our upcoming trip this Monday (switch from 90-day to 180-day, ahhh!). Anyway, since I feel a little rushed in making our dining plans I'm so afraid I'll pick something we'll regret. :guilty: So here are our tentative plans:
Saturday - arrive (no parks), dinner at Boma (staying at AKL one night)
Sunday - go to Magic Kingdom, check into VWL, dinner at Kona?? (big maybe, not sure what the reviews are of this place)
Monday - Animal Kingdom in the morning, dinner at Garden Grill or Rose & Crown (if we can get ressies for Illuminations)
Tuesday - Hollywood Studios, back-up dinner plans for GG or R & C (or manage to do one the first night, then the other this night?!?)
Wednesday - Epcot, Akershurs for breakfast? My DH loves breakfast food! Is this place good?!
Thursday - Kona for breakfast! MK before we have to leave for the airport

So that's it! Any tips or word of wisdom? TIA!! :worship:

I've not eaten here so I can't comment on the food, but just to note, this is a princesses themed place. I don't know if you like character meals, but this at Garden Grill both have characters.

Note that you might not get a table that has a view of IllumiNations. There are mixed reports about whether you can ask (and wait) for a patio table, but I would not count on it. However, even if you are seated at a table without a view, you can go to the special R&C viewing area to the left of the restaurant. It has a great view.

We ate at Kona's in December for breakfast and really liked it. Our favorite was the Macadamia and pineapple pancakes.

We also really liked the breakfast buffet at Boma's. There were the typical items, like waffles, sausage, etc., but also some African themed items. If you like breakfast, I would consider adding Boma's.
