help with requests

We are headed to POR in two weeks, June 6th. There will be two rooms for the six of us. My dd is 22 months, so I want to be in a first floor room. I think we want to try the Mansions, but would you think the Bayou is closer. I want to fax my request right, or what is a better way. What would you all recommend. Ajoining rooms is a must due to childcare issues.

You should add your requests to your reservation. Most resorts are not looking at faxes anymore. Also do you want a room that connect to yours? Then make sure you ask for a connecting room. It will have the door between them.

We stay at POR frequenty. We have made requests for 1st floor. 2 out of our last 5 stays we were on the 1st floor. 2 out of the 2 times we needed adjoining rooms we got them. Alligator buyou blds do not have elevators, so with having a stroller, you would need 1st floor. We had 2nd floor twice over in the mansions. They have elevators so it wasn't a problem for us.
