I am so excited...we finally decided to switch our dates from 11/5-13 to 11/1-9. When I changed the dates, I asked if GVC was available (we were booked for LV) and it was!!!

Anyway, I just have a few questions about concierge and the lounge:

1) I am not sure if IPO will get my address/e-mail from WDTC. We are leaving in 105 days. There are a few PS I need to make and I am not sure when or if I should contact them. What do you think?

2) We are travelling with DS(5) and DS (22months). DS(5) is well-behaved but DS (22 months) is a typical toddler. Is it appropriate for him to run around the lounge (supervised, of course)?

3) Are there really jogging strollers available? How do we request these?

4) Are milk and juice available all day or should I stock up at the grocery before we arrive?

5) Are the morning offerings available in time to leave for EMH?

We are just so thrilled we were able to swich our reservations!! After reading all the great posts about Poly concierge we really hoped we would get lucky!!

Thanks for any info you can provide!!!

I'll try to answer some of yor questions.
1) I would contact them now. It never hurts to get started early.
2)I think your toddler will be fine. The lounge is very kid friendly.
3)I don't know about jogging strollers. This would be a good question to email the staff.
4)Yes,you can get milk and juice all day long.
5) Breakfast is served early enough for EMH.
Here is a list of food offerings during our stay last year
Sun: Pasta w/meat sauce
Mon: Sushi
Tues: Chicken and Beef Skewers with Ohana's BBQ Sauce and White Rice
Wed: Lomein and Vegetable Spring Rolls
Thurs: Luau Ribs and Chicken Tenders with Vegetable Fried Rice
Fri: Kona's Pot Stickers and wings with Stir Fry Vegetables\
Sat: Captain Cooks Chasiur Pork sandwiches and Vegetable Spring Rolls
Each night they served veggies/dip/cheese, crackers etc.
Then sweet stuff at night ie: small tarts, cakes, cookies.
You'll have a great time!!!!

As far as the juice and milk...you won't see it out during the day but just ask the wonderful staff in the lounge and they will get it for you. Once they recognize you they will probably automatically get it before you ask!

Enjoy!

The concierge does have a limited amount of strollers available for guest use. It's my understanding they charge a deposit for them and return it to you once you return the stroller at the end of your stay. Now, that said, the number is limited and they are issued on a first come, first served basis. Since you are going at a quieter time of year, you will most likely have no problems. It doesn't hurt to ask about them when you make your initial contact with IPO.

Milk is behind the counter during the day, but juice is always out on the counter as is soda, water, coffee, tea, etc.

Thank you so much for your quick responses!!!

I think I will e-mail them tonight.

I am just so excited, I can't stop thinking about being there!!!

Thanks again!!

Tikiman has a form you can use to send ALL of your requests to cocierge at one time. E-mail him. He was so kind to quickly send me the form. And I was able to get EVERY request I made!

(Thanks again Tikiman!)
