What are the things I need to make reservations for? I know we'd like to dine at Blue Bayou. What is the Fantasmic package? Are there any other special things that require advance reservations or planning? Where and when can I call to make these ressies? Any help is appreciated!

I don't think the Fantasmic package is available for a while, they are renovating the River Terrace to accomodate the Year of a Million Dreams overnight stay room. I could be wrong, there might be an alternative I haven't heard about.

But you will have to make reservations for a character breakfast also.
The # is (714) 781-DINE (3463) this will work for all reservations for dining only.

Dining reservations can be made 60 days in advance.

Fantasmic dessert buffet is reserved seating with desserts and hot drinks (coffee, tea, hot chocolate) for the show. The cost is high, currently $59 per person but many feel it is worth to price. These reservations can be made 1 month in advance (note NOT 30 days, 1 month) and you would need to call right at 8am as the seats go quick. You can also contact Vacation Planning to get your reservations for you. Their email is vacationplanning@disneyonline.com and they can also arrange autographed photos, gift baskets and any other special touches.

The riverside seating is available, only the balcony is no longer offered.

So, I need to call November 14, if I want it for December 14????? Also if you can book Fantasmic through that email address you gave?? Have you done this? Are you guarnteed the day and time you want?? Have you used there services?

When I made my reservations for December I called at 7 am and was able to get them done.

alright great! Just want to make sure that I call at the right time. So you call on the same date that you need reservations for? example call today for December 12th??

Dining reservations open at 7am, Fantasmic tickets at 8am, unless its changed recently. The direct line to the event tickets(Fantasmic) is (714) 781-4400. Start calling 5-10 minutes early and just continue until you get through. The email above can be used for general requests, but you will need to call with your credit card number, so for Fantasmic tickets I would call (714) 300-7526 Option # 2 if you want them to make the reservations for you. I don't think they "guarantee" anything, but obviously they have the inside track on gtting the tickets. I've never heard of vacation planning not getting tickets when requested. You must be a guest of a Disney resort to use this service.

Yes, today they would be booking Fantasmic for Dec 12. If in doubt call today and ask what day you need to call for tickets.

I just used Vacation Planning to book my Fantasmic! Riverside seating package.
They were not able to get my first choice, but were able to snag my second choice.

They have a better shot at booking your package than you do.
If you use them, give them a couple of choices in case they cannot obtain your first choice of preference.

You have to be staying at one of the DL hotels in order to use Vacation Planning services for this.

And sorry, but it is 30 DAYS in advance to the day you wish to watch the show.
