so going december 5th.
HS has EMH in the AM so we plan to start there.
normally when park hopping we'd book FP+ selections for the second park but the only things we want FP+ at EPCOT is TT and soarin and we can only get FP+ for one of those so we were thinking maybe make FP+ selections for HS and then hope that by the time we get to EPCOT there will still be FP+ for one or the other.
good idea or should we stick with FP+ at second park?

at HS we would FP+ TSMM, TOT, and something (prob muppets even though you don't NEED FP+ for that).

this is what we want to do at HS
-RNRC
-TOT x2
-TSMM
-GMR
-muppets
-BATB

with or without FP+ could we easily get most of that done before the 11am BATB show and then finish up by noon?

and we want to make ADR's for GG in EPCOT for lunch but we aren't sure when to make them for to ensure we will be done with HS.

advice about FP+, timing for HS, and when to make our ADR for would be appreciated.

btw we've done the osborne lights many times and in recent times it has not been a very magical experience so we have no intentions of seeing it this trip.

ETA: we could do GG for dinner i suppose but we were thinking lunch just so we could "get it out of the way" so we wouldn't have to worry about being somewhere at a specific time for the rest of the day.

Your plan sounds fine to me...I'd probably get my FP+ for HS, plan to eat lunch at GG around 1-2 (or do it for dinner instead - that wouldn't stress me out), ride TT via the single rider line, and probably skip Soarin'.

FYI - this is the LAST year for the Osborne Lights, in case that impacts your planning at all.

Do you have a link to your FYI? That rumor has gone around many, many times. I know HS is expanding and putting in new things, but if you don't have a link from Disney that this is definitely the last year, I wouldn't be posting it. Yes, it MAY be the last year, and therefore, could impact OP's decision.

OP, with early EMH at HS, you can probably do what you want to do without FP+, but you need to be at HS at least 30 min before opening and have a plan. The only part that might not work is the second ride on ToT.

I would make the lunch ADR for 2:00, just to give yourself a little cushion.

An option for not doing FP+ at EP would involve missing Illuminations. As PP said, you could use single rider line at TT and then get in line for Soarin' just before 9:00 (or it may be 9:30 at that time of year, check the times guide for closing time of FW). As long as you are in line before closing, you can ride, but you will miss Illuminations.

i would NEVER miss illuminations especially not during xmas time so thats really not an option for us.

at epcot we want to do TT, soarin, living with the land, spaceship earth, captain eo, figment, and mexico.
without FP+ for one of the main attractions do you think we cannot accomplish those things without missing illuminations?

I think you'd probably have to skip Soarin and do Test Track via the Single Rider line, otherwise, I don't think you'll have trouble doing those attractions. Keep in mind that some Future World attractions close at 7 (Figment, Captain EO, and Living with the Land I believe) so just do those first.

One suggestion: when going from HS to EPCOT take the boat. It's about a 20 minute ride, but so much more pleasant! If you're running late you can always hop off at one resorts mid-way and walk... I did that one time getting off a BC and was checked in and for dinner at France when the boat actually pulled up to the dock.

yeah we plan on taking the boat.
we prefer to rest of a few minutes between the parks vs using more energy to walk there.

ropedrop RNRC
ToT without fp+
ToT with FP+
GMR
TSMM with FP+
muppets
BATB show

however, there is no way you will get a FP+ for TT or Soarin' by mid-day. So you are guaranteeing that you'll be waiting in both of those lines at whatever queue time they have. I do think that's your best bet to fit it all in though vs. FP+ at Epcot.

I'd plan the GG lunch for 1:30, giving yourself an extra 30 minute cushion do you don't feel rushed. That will put you at 3:00-3:30. it might be difficult to fit in all the ones you listed prior to Illuminations so I'd figure out which were priorities and go in that order. Personally on a busy day like you are planning I might not schedule an ADR at all but if I did I'd want a dinner instead right before Illuminations.

If you did your ADR at 7 PM, you wouldn't be using Future World time to eat. That's what I would do.
