we are off in 2 weeks time, have been quite a few times, but this time we have bought half board meal plan vouchers.
Please could someone tell me what we are entitled too ?i have had a look at the restaurants but can only find a set menu at a couple of them and there does not seem to be much choice at all !!
we have a couple of fussy eaters with us so can the vouchers be used on anything on the menu ?
any advice would be great !!:goodvibes

we have got the plus vouchers too and basically they entitle you to either an all-you-can-eat buffet in certain restaurants (might be best for picky eaters) or the set menu for half board vouchers in the selected restaurants. so you can eat in t/s restaurants listed on the vouchers and eat from the menu they have set or you can use the vouchers at face value in these or any restaurant and simply pay the extra to eat there!

we will probably be eating in a lot of buffets. Yes we know they may not be the best value for money in terms of the cost of the vouchers but we have 2 big eaters travelling with us one of whom is a picky eater and a 1 year old who doesn't get vouchers but can eat for free in the buffets so for us will work out good value as my 1 year old eats as much as me lol

If you have fussy eaters, I personally think buffets are the best way to use your half board plus vouchers.

Unfortunately, you will lose money on them if you want to eat in any of the buffet restaurants in both parks, as they are all on the standard half board plan.

Does the half board menu at Walts appeal at all? I don't find that "fussy" food, not for the main courses anyway, and the kids choices are fairly bland. Cafe Mickey's 3-course menu is also on the Half Board plus plan, thats a good value way of using your vouchers, for lunch or dinner, as its a character meal (and not fancy food).

For plus plan buffets, you're looking at the buffets in the Hotel New York, Newport Bay Club, and Sequoia Lodge hotels. I'd do all and any of them again, and its nice to see another hotel from the one you're staying in :).

Please be reminded that when you use the voucher at face value, drink is not included and you need to pay extra for it.

Have fun planning!

We ate at the buffets at the Hotel New York and Newport Bay last summer. Both were good but I'd especially recommend the one at the Newport Bay (Cape Cod).
