Help With Magic Bands

I bought 2 new of the new Magic Bands+. I am having trouble getting them to link to our reservation. I got as far as having the bands light up. We are staying at Pop Century. Is the front desk usually willing to help with this kind of problem? We have reservations at Ohana our first night and have the dining plan.

If it’s during the second part where it’s trying to auto reset and turns off the band but has issues turning back on to complete the install, just press that small button in the back (my band would turn off during the restart and the app kept saying it couldn’t connect) while keeping the band close to your phone. The restart and install worked for me that way. Only one of the bands (out of 5) worked smoothly where I didn’t have to turn it on for the install to complete.

I’ve had trouble knowing whether our MB+ were on or off, which has caused problems linking them and updating them. I copied this from a post here but didn’t make note of whose post it was, so I can give them credit for it!

As above, there’s a small button on the back of the MB+.

To power on, press and hold the button for one second. If successful, you will see a solid greenlight.

To power the device off, press and hold the button on the back of the band for about 6 seconds, until it buzzes twice. If the power-off is successful, the LED light will turn red and rotate once in reverse.

I’d also make sure your MB is charged. I had a hard time updating my MB until it was charged.
