I’m going to purchase 7 day park hopper tickets for my husband and myself for our upcoming trip 9/14-9/21. We are staying off property for the first two nights and then checking into All Star Music on 9/16 when they reopen. How would I reserve my days for park admissions? Do I do the first two days using the Just Theme Park Tickets option and then the remainder days as Resort Tickets option? If so, how would I do that if I’m getting the 7 day tickets? I hope I’ve made sense trying to explain my question and haven’t made it too confusing.

You just add resort booking # and tickets to your MDE and then make your park pass reservations.

I get what you mean. I think that you just book the park you want and it should be able to tell what bucket to put you into (AP, theme park ticket, resort guest). Once you have it booked, I don't think it matters. You don't choose a category to book in.

One think I learned was that you can't mix groups. For ex in my family we had 2 AP holders and the rest had regular park tickets. I couldn't make park pass reservations for them as a group. I had to book the AP holders, then book the regular ticket holders separately. This happened even though they were staying at the same resort. This was awhile ago so not sure if the park pass reservation system has been updated to be more user friendly.
