Ok we are def. going!

I am traveling alone with DD 9 & DD 8. We are staying at Pop Century and will have rent a car.

We will be arriving in orlando Wednesday July 7 at 11:00am, and leaving at 6:00pm July 14th.

Tips, Plans or suggestions for a great itinerary?

Thanks so much.

Is this your first trip?? If not when was your last trip? I would definelty try and snag some PS's. It is a busy time, and you'll be glad you have them, even if it's just a few. Try to possibly book a character meal.

Also, what about spending a day at the water parks?? My DS (11) loves them, especially TL (for the wave pool).

Look into available e-ride nights, if this interests you. Also, start gathering the park schedules so you can have a base plan.

Most of all-- HAVE FUN!!

I would first check out allearsnet.com or the disney website to read about the rides and attractions that appeal to you... then make a plan for what rides you could attempt to group together on what days. If your kids are early risers, take advantage of some of the EMH days, but then I'd still do as many suggest here and either take a hotel break or hop to a different (most likely) less crowded park.

It will depend on your children's interests on what you will most want to see and do, so I'd include them in the planning if possible... maybe give them each one full day to plan. If you can elaborate on some of your and your children's interests it may be easier to suggest some must see's for you.

I agree about PS's as this will save you some time. WDWIG has menus for every place at WDW to help you decide. Have a great time!:)

I would try very hard to get a ps for cindy's. Also maybe eat at chef mickey's for breakfast or dinner.

don't forget rest at the resort, it will be very hot, i am going the same dates at cbr. use fast pass whenever possible. go early. use emh or avoid parks on this day

extra magic hr. days for resort guests

Hi,
My DD and I are going for our first time in October (20-27). How do we get a Fast Pass? Also, do you need to pay for PS when you book it or can you pay when you get there in case you need to cancel. We already have MNSSHP tickets for the 24th.
Thanks!

Try to get a PS for a character dinner on your first day in Orlando, I would try and get settled into your room, perhaps on the way from the airport stop and pick up a few snacks for your room. Settle in and enjoy the pool and relax until dinner. That way you will be refreshed for the next day and the parks, try to break up your days so you can get some R&R at the resort. You will also want to plan your days so you can go back to the resort and take a swim etc. since the weather is very hot and humid. I know with kids that age they want to go go go but it is important to have some down time too. A day at a water park is a good choice. There are many things to see and do but so much more enjoyable taken at a slower pace with the heat and humidity. Have a great time!::

fast passes are right at the rides. You get the one for the ride you want to go on. Check out allearsnet.com for lots of info on this.
Also you can call for your PS's 90 days ahead. (for most) you do not have to pay anything for this.

Thanks for the tips! I can't wait to go. There is so much to see and do that I want to take advantage of every little time saver!
I appreciate all the great advice evryone has to offer.
