Help with hotel in London

We need to stay in London with a family of four, just for a night or two, in November. Does anyone know of a hotel where all four of us can stay in one room (two adults, two kids)?

After the DCL Baltic Cruise in June we stayed at The Rubens at the Palace. We loved it and they have rooms of various sizes. It is down the street from Buckingham Palace and Victoria Station (we took the tube to Wimbledon) It was a beautiful hotel and the least expensive from the list my TA gave me with her recommendations. The concierge staff was extremely helpful with our touring questions. Also, the Big Red Bus tours depart just down the block. If you need more information send me a PM.

When we did Knights and Lights, we stayed at the Renassiance Chancery Court (I probably have the spelling wrong there!)--and loved it so much we stayed there for a few pre-nights before the DCL Baltic Cruise. It is one block from the Holborn tube station (a direct line to Heathrow), walkable to the British Museum nd St. Paul's--even to the theatre district. We did adjoining rooms (DS 16 and DD 9 in one room, us old folks in the other)--nice to have the two bathrooms, place for them to crash etc. I think you could fit 4 in one room if younger children. Price is not cheap--although we got a nice deal on line that included breakfast (very nice buffet breakfast).

I would love to know that too! I think in london the max is 3 people in a room. there are four of us...anyone? a nice hotel in the heart of london??

We stayed at the Savoy, it is expensive but nice.

I stayed at both last week and both were great locations and Mayfair especially had large rooms- I got a suite there on Hotels.com at a really really good price- Also love that Royal Garden is right next to Kensington palace and lots of museums- Both good- Mayfair is trendy now with the "footballers" and celebraties of London so crowds out front and lots of cameras with paparazzi (spelling??) outside did get old but worth the size of the room and easy walk to Buckingham Palace and Westminster. Met Sheryl Crowe in the lobby at Royal Garden which was a plus there too. Both 4-5 stars so check discount sites if interested. Enjoy- I miss London already!!
