help with flights for july 09

ok we have been home from the house of mouse for 1 week, then me and my son trotted off to our holiday home in Angelsey which as nice as it is has just made me even more determined to book for next summer! but when will the flights be released? I want to go around the 22 July for 3 weeks which will give us a few days in Angelseyu before the children go back to school. I want to book asap but so far the flights don't seem to be released. Am i better doing it DIY or through a travel agent. We have done it DIY on a few occasions but looking on the DIS and lots of you have bookeed already for next year.... PLEASE HELP....

There are quite a lot of places with flights available to book now. Thomas cook, thomson, virgin, first choice, orbitz, I think most really.

Charter should be available now but scheduled are 330 days in advance of your return date. Personally i've done packages in the past but now i'm sold on DIYing.. I know some would rather have it all sorted but for us the money saved outweighs that, I just love the thrill of finding a good deal and the flexibility of choosing exactly the flights, hotels etc I want and being able to modify these easily if necessary I know in some cases a package is cheaper or the same price so I wouldn't entirely rule out doing one again but looking at prices I just can't see it being likely for the holidays we want to go on.

We have mainly just used TAs and usually now book in the February of the previous year for the holiday. We need to book through the TA because we want two onsite rooms at Universal and every time I price up to do this independently it always works out more expensive than the TA rates for two rooms.
