help with calling the USA & ADR booking.

Does anyone know of a cheap way to call the USA in order to get my reservation number? There are loads of web sites that advertise 1p per minute but is there a catch?

Once I get the number and I then want to make online ADR from the UK, what time of day does the booking window open for bookings from the uk.
My booking window does not open for a few weeks yet but I have just tried to make a dummy run at making a booking. Each time I try, there does not seem to be any room at any of the restaurants. This attempt was made at 10AM.

This is the first time i will have tried to make ADR. Will i get more success if i ring Disney instead of using the website?

Use 0844 200 9595. Calls cost 0.5 p per minute anytime. There is no catch. I have been using these numbers to phone friends and family for about a decade now.

Call the above number and you will be prompted to enter the number you want to dial. So you enter in 001 407 939 3463 and finish by pressing the # key.

Phone lines open for ADRs at noon GMT and at 11 am for online ressies. Hope you get everything you need.

Thanks for the help. The number worked great. Shame about the person on the other end who had no idea what I was talking about. Even after giving her my name and Thomson reservation number, she still could not help with giving me the number i need for booking my ADR online.

I have since gone back to the site and have input my Thomson reservation number. The site does recognize my booking ref and it says that any dining reservations i make will be associated with it.

Does that sound good to you, or do you think that i will still need this 12 digit number that has been mentioned?

I wouldnt worry about linking your DDP reservations to your booking.People stay off site and still book.I know you get the extra ten day advantage but unless its a resturant that sells quick like le cellier(in epcot Canada-which in 3 years I have never had any success at getting into for an evening meal and still haven't this time but managed to get lunch at 2.30) and perhaps CRT (Sorry if iv missed any ) you should be ok getting most times you want.
It is a very anxious time and we all want to get the times we want. I have actually booked my meals first this time and are now planning our days around the TS meals iv booked. I have however booked some buffet breakfasts around 11 so we can go to epoct or MK then leave for breakfast and then go back after.Sort of a brunch. Also left a couple of days free so we can eat where we want. I have never tried a walk in but I am sure you can do it. Good luck anyway .I would try and book your fantasmic package early if you are planning to do this.It tends to sell out very quickly.

When I called from Turkey to the States to make my dining reservations I used a skype to phone connection. Good thing too - I was on the phone for 1 hour 15 minutes and it cost 1.5 Euros. Very cheap!
