We are planning a trip 10/24 to 11/3 at the POR. So 10 nights and 11 days in the parks. I think I am going to book a room only AAA rate thru Disney right now, and hope that I may get a better discount sometime before then. Wishing for some pixie dust and a code via email or snail mail....

Does anyone have any suggestios as to what the best deal for us would be for ticket prices and how to do it? We just want the basic MYW tickets, no hopping, no water parks. Just want to be able to go to a park each day that we are there. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I use ticketmania.com. Subscribe to mousesavers emails and you'll get links to discounts off ticketmania. And don't be fooled when you look at comparing prices - ticketmania's includes taxes and Disney's ticket prices don't.

1) Alas, great deals on tickets don't exist anymore.
2) You can easily do a Google and check each vendor.
3) I find that AAA has one of the better deals (although there are others).
4) Plus, you don't have to be a member of AAA to buy the tickets.
5) Good luck on your vendor choice.

One minor correction..

Mousesavers now partners with Undercovertourist -- not Ticketmania any more that I can see.

As I am checking out different vendors - I guess I am not seeing how to get anything more than a 10 day base ticket...

Am I missing something? We will be in Dis. 11 days and want to do parks on our day of arrival and departure...

10 days is the maximum that Disney sells.

Your choices past that are :

1- Buy a 1 day base ticket for the 11th day for each person in your party.
2- Stay at the resort one day and relax or visit Downtown Disney.
3- Purchase an annual pass for everyone in your group.

Clearly # 2 is the cheapest option.

Thanks CanadianGuy! I thought that may be the case, but I wanted to make sure... I guess I can be alright with taking a day off - I hope! I just wanted the option to go on our departure day if we wanted to, but I would buy a one day base ticket just for that.

Anyone know why Disney does not offer more days as an option when you are staying in a Dis. Resort? What about people who want to take a 12-14 day vacation and book thru Disney? What do they do for tickets?

if you get water parks and more added to you tickets, you can do the minor parks one day? Quest, Pleasure Island, or a Water park.

Past 11 or 12 days... it makes the most financial sense to buy an annual pass which includes Park Hopping.
