Help with a few questions as I get closer!

Hi, I'm hoping some people can chime in and help me with a few odd questions as I'm getting into finer detail with my planning.

1) I am planning to catch FoF parade from the Frontierland / Sleepy Hollow type area. I understand the parade often starts back in that area and moves towards teh front. With a 3 pm parade start, about how long does it take for the parade to pass through that area? On my touring plan, I'm given a 30 minute time for the parade. What I'm asking is will the parade be through that area by about 3:30? Is 3:30 or so the time I can be ready to move on to another attraction?

2) Can I charge tips at table service dining on my Magic Band? I think that answer is yes, just checking to be sure how much cash I need to carry each day.

Parade times vary. Check with cast members. The parade take around 15 minutes for all of the floats and performers to pass. I believe they are adding a new float with more characters.

1) I'll leave for someone else - I'm pretty sure you'll be done by 3:30, but when I watched, I wasn't pressed for time and didn't check my watch.

2) yes, you can use your MB to charge items back to your room, including dinner tips. Keep a little cash - I was stuck without cash one hot day at a beverage cart that was supposed to take MB as payment but the machine wasn't working. Luckily the kind CM gave me 2 drinks without charge before putting up an "out of service" note.

1) It should be through that area by 3:30ish. The front of the parade usually reaches Town Square on Main Street at about 3:25.

2) I've never used it, but I believe it works like a credit card. Maybe someone else can answer definitively.
