HELP! Which telephone # for Reservations

Which telephone number should I call to book a hotel only reservations. I recall there are two different types and that people had prefered one over the other due to when you can cancel, etc.

I know there is 407-W-Disney but I'm not sure that that is the number everyone really likes using. I am TRYING to see if there are any availability from June 29 - July 2 or 3. I know its last minute and all and it is just before July 4th but I am able to go and I will be meeting up with a friend.

Thanks. I found one link I had booked marked and it said that people liked the CRO telephone better than the WDTC. Are they still separate?
